With the current covid issue I almost don't want them to release news of an order (unless there are more to follow) until things have stabilised a bit. I suspect in the current market an order would have little impact due to the over all derisking that everyone is doing.
I doubt we’d want to wait for PHE, they won’t have a full size product (or any product for that matter) until December at the earliest.
I’m sure we will have sales before then!
AFC has said that they no longer have a formal link with PHE and expect nothing to happen in that regard.
I agree Muscorum. it would be nice if they did do some talking however! We need more than intermittent vacuous tweeting.
I think we can forget about AFC providing a fuel cell to connect to a PHE DMG unit. PHE (or rather the "developer") will likely be able to sell their hydrogen for EV use at a higher revenue/profit than they would be able to do by buying a fuel cell and using the hydrogen to produce electricity.
Lets hope the new DeNora website give some clues to where AFC stand in that development...could be a 3 way announcement next week....DeNora ..AFC..Rolec.....not long to wait now .
DeNora took an interest and can open many doors.
Southerhay,
Whilst I agree patience is required, I have been invested since AFC floated.
Since then, I have fewer teeth, far less hair, more wrinkles and 2 more grandchildren almost now at senior school.
Mind you, one positive is that I have nerves of steel, which is a must to still be invested.
I just hope AFC get orders before all those Funeral plans that drop through my door get even more interesting.
we expect to be fully installed and available for operation and supply of clean energy to the Southern Oil refinery by the end of the first half 2019.
No communications since this update, would be good to get some clarification
It’s not just Australia what about the peel contract that they received a deposit from? The MOU’s signed with Dubai and South Korea. Updates on these would be appreciated
DW i would also like an update on Aus bit if the word is not out as to what they want in terms of unit size, what can AFC do?
As for strategic investment, they would want their slice of the pie and at the moment, i don't think investors would be best served by dilution. I'm sure thats why the Thalion facility remains unused. It does give a financial safety net tho.
Oh for goodness sake give them some time! They’ve only just finished the roadshow !
Yes we’re all anxious to see a contract but days after their roadshow. Be realistic I’m betting on another couple of months before we see a firm order. I hope to be proved wrong and it’s earlier than that but that’s my stance.
DW it is possible and also cheaper if companies such as Siemens pick off their own low hanging fruit.
AFC may have been seen as difficult to take over with large private investors on board like RA
Critical time for AFC.
It's great to hear that so many people have approached them and shown interest, but we have heard such things many times before over the years. The difference now is that we know that we have a system ready to be ordered and we know that they have invited partners to use Alkamem. If the roadshow, the 500 potential customers, all those conversations and all the hype do not translate into something soon then the emphasis changes from "Lots of people have come to see us" to "Lots of people have come to see us, but no one wants it".
I understand that the procurement process takes time and firm orders can take time, but we need a firm update on where AFC see the pipeline. Some solid MOUs pending due diligence would be useful.
It's crunch time.
