Klunk/BumbleB2,
You could right re AFC possibly looking to Solivus to supply requited solar panels, but I would have thought that would not make the CEO as excited as she appears.
Something there between the companie,. what it is, we will have to wait and see.
I invested in 2015 and it was going to be a £1 by Christmas then, and every year since. Good chance of it next year I think and if the pre-season testing goes well then I’d expect it to do well late Dec. At least EE will be vocal about progress so we’ll get sight of AFCs performance through that.
Are we not in the position where this has to be tested in real world situations and if it is successful the notion of AFC’s products will become a desired product? People with a lot to lose have put their faith in afc so that has to mean something. Afc are possibly still a bit before their time but not much. One way or another we are going green. Huge wind farms have/ and been built ( last night on bbc 2) I know it’s been along time for many but this feels like afc are really part of that change. I bloody hope so anyway as I’ve no pension!
Chance would be a fine thing. I do confess to feeling a little hacked off tonight as I fear it's going to take a lot more than elaborate demonstrations of the tech to get the SP to move up and that's what we all want. People have been predicting £1 a share plus for years. Will it ever happen?
And quite cross again by the looks of it. Hopefully AB will see the post and spring into action.
oooooooooo 'prevarication' you're posh!
The share price is pathetic given all the hype we've been fed over the years. It hasn't progressed apart from spikes since AFC's inception. If some shareholders are happy with that, I'm not one of them. The considerable dilution doesn't help either. We need a commercial deal and soon. No more prevarication.
Bananaman2 - Beginning of the year we were trading between 15 and 20. It then spiked to 33 on Hydrogen generator news. In june and July it spiked a couple of times to 30 then dipped back down to 20. Since then we've had a placing and we are now where we are. The SP has been pretty consistent this year with two or three spikes here and there despite the Covid. So it hasn't really been that bad a year for AFC so far.
I agree, next year the world will be focusing on environmental issues especially with Extreme E highlighting the damage it is causing. If our products are proved to be efficient and safe, I think we will start to see Hydrogen products creeping into the market and playing a key role as a cleaner alternative energy source. The govt is also investing billions into cleaner alternatives. AFC will have a good year next year, I'm sure of it.
Rooky...Perhaps AFC are looking to buy some solar panels for the Extreme E electrolyzer....
Strange that the CEO of Solivus, a company that has its own system to sell for energy production, should show so much interest in AFC .
From their web site they state that they have a design-led, home energy solutions for self-generation, storage, plus both fast and rapid EV charging – with no upfront payments.
Not trying to knock this, as I feel there has to be something going on between the two companies.
Anyone have any ideas, or am I reading it wrong.
Nice find. Good news to end the week.
I see under news page at heliatek dot com that they've done business with ACCIONA.
"Heliatek has realized a groundbreaking “landmark” OPV installation: 120 flexible organic photovoltaic films have been installed on a wind turbine tower in the Breña Wind Farm (Albacete, Spain) to cover the consumption of the turbine’s auxiliary systems".
Klunk - that's exactly what I mean. Brexit will most likely affect the SP as well. But If trials are successful we will have a good chance of getting these products signed off, and start production. The first one will be the Hydrogen generators which we could start seeing being rolled out by early/mid 2021.
MIKODX.....If you are thinging about air pollution awareness and the benefits that AFC Tech can provide with that problem ....then you are most likely correct .
At the moment I would tend not to agree. It has dragged the SP from 30 odd pence at the start of the year to 17p today.
Next year, when the world re-focuses on important issues such as climate change it then become apparent the importance of the cash raise when they did, providing considerable means to get through this terrible period and come out the other side with a viable commercial product to assist with cleaning up energy generation for the new world post COVID.
Whats your take MIKODX
I think it's done this stock a big favour.
Only time will tell.
