I don't know about you, but I have a funny feeling it's going to be a very warm winter over here at AFC energy.
Holding firmly.
Cheers Haggis, it certainly feels like the tide has turned and we can’t be far off transformation news.
Dreaming of an ITM/Ceres style re-rate!
Come on AFC, show us the money…..
AFC can still announce new products, as those may not be deemed financially sensitive, or they may not have fixed the date of the announcement yet.
Also, an RNS for the sale of one or more systems could come any day. The Director doesn't know when a deal will be signed, so has no more insight into timing of that news than anyone else in the market.
News flow in Q4 2021 calendar year (the short and sweet version). Some of these have been announced as 'expected' by AFC by year end, others are possibilities.
Sales of FC systems (expected)
S Series 'membrane' FC, full scale prototypes (expected)
FC System delivered to ACCIONA (expected)
FC System delivered to Juelich (expected)
Ammonia Cracker (possible)
Alkaline Electrolyser (possible)
Redox Flow Battery (Alkamem) (possible)
Salt Water Battery (Alkamem) (possible)
Direct Ammonia Anion Exchange Fuel Cell (Alkamem) (possible)
Chlor-Alkali Plant (possible)
Fuel Synthesis system (Alkamem) (possible)
Encouraging that board members are severally buying shares, but means there is no imminent price sensitive news about to be announced.
It was found that the average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those thousands of thoughts, 80% were negative, and 95% were exactly the same repetitive thoughts as the day before.
The only difference between them and you is the constant connection between brain and thumb and the need to share every negative and repetitive thought.
You'd still whinge if the SP was £10. We'll all win or We'll all lose whining about this and that everyday won't change that.
Aim
His salary is 300k per year and total package far larger, you can google it within 30 seconds and its not unreasonable for shareholders to hope that a ceo will buy shares with their own money....he has quite a bigger package than most ceo's within that group.
If their circumstances dont allow it then fair enough but the market place and hnw/insti's like to see it and almost expect it from ceo's.
But i never heard it demanded:)
Grudge not grouch but you all know what I mean ;)
DW,
Broken record. You are so dull. Most people live to their means so to say he can just buy a load of shares is just stupid. He has a lot of options that are performance related.
If he even gets close to the Zeus target of £1.88 then I’ll be very happy for him, myself and other sensible, realistic investors here who will all have done very well thanks to him.
So utterly, utterly boring. I genuinely worry about this size of the grouch you have against AB. It is NOT normal.
Chill out for once,
Jim
He isn’t poor but he certainly isn’t rich enough to have people writing on boards what the guy should be doing with his own money. If someone I have never met started trolling writing online what I should do with my personal money I would tell them to p**S off
isn't this purchase just consolidating his voting rights within the company after the RNS on 11th October? Nothing really to do with his confidence?
Chippy if you worked in a Mars bar factory and were given 1000 Mara bars for free every year. Would you go to a shop and pay full price for a Mars bar? Why would he buy shares, that would make no sense to him. Hey he only positive it can bring is a couple of percent SP rise for a day.
No more posting from me today, readers can make their own mind up. But he doesn’t do buying them does he.

A little out of date but you get the picture Aim...
his 1st purchase
He’s got millions already has he not!?
I hope this purchase is not another distraction from the fact we have no sales yet. Still, AB has 2 months left to redeem himself on that front and deliver us all a early Xmas prezzy.
lol first amount taken that was tiny amount confidence in company,
Happy they can’t buy 30 days or less prior to figures being released as this clearly is insider trading. They also can’t buy with ‘insider knowledge’ but that’s pretty subject to interpretation as even if he knows an order is dropping next week, as Bananaman said, we also know there is orders coming as AB told us to expect them in H2 so not really insider trading
I had the aim rules downloaded at one point but i binned them when changing phone.
From what i remember....the time to when a director buys shares to news is non existent because of closed periods etc but he is not allowed to sell them within 30 days of SP enhancing news, so his buys dont have any relation to news coming and the company has already informed the market that news is coming within the period so no worries there.
Im looking at these director buys as holding news from the company....i.e. - we have something but we cant release yet.
Before buying.....he would have taken authorisation from the company secretary.
Come on 007.......its about time you raised the ante, show us the colour of your money:)
Certainly not bad news. I know this sort of thing has been discussed before but can someone give me an informed answer on insider dealing. Is there a time period where directors can not purchase prior to a further more-share-sensitive RNS?
Not sure there would be any specific time delay between this director buy and a sales contract. The director is buying because they believe the AFC stock is undervalued and given the information in the public domain such as multi system orders in half 2 of 2021, we can assume that there is an order due any day. Of that order drops tomorrow then so be it. The director does not necessarily have any more information than we do as we've already been told to expect orders.
Haha seg dodnt even think of that, good idea
Mouchers nothing really. Last week ITM directors bought shares the day before they announced fundraising £250m for two new factories. ABB presentation next week partnered with AFC will surely have insider knowledge and he still bought. I would say it’s irrelevant.
I think they're playing games here. Where's the proper news? Very disappointing.
