The web site is of course importanat but feel some are placing too much on this. The media coverage and PR is important as are the exhibitions/conferences etc but for me the web site is minor. If a company are to buy our product it will not be via the website.. just an observation.
New website due soon as well remember the last time gave a good increase to the sp would hope it makes an even bigger impact this time as it will be the shop window for afc .i also wonder if it will also be a rebranded .it would good to see a part were it shows denora, rolec etc as partners as this will make it look even more of a professional outfit
Although its taken ages and maybe we should not hope too much, i feel quite upbeat about the chances of some news on southern very soon...i dont see them walking away and im sort of hoping that afc have held back any progress because not material so maybe there is something coming soonish....the market are not taking that into account just now i dont think ad its been so long anf its like having the chance of a big bonus for us.......in fact, it gives things more credence if both parties have stuck with it, lets hope so, no reason why not.
Yes Coldfishpie, if we've heard nothing before the December event it'll be interesting to hear what the visitors made of any reaction when the inevitable question about Southern is asked.
Just managed to watch the p.i. interview.
As usual, bond came across very well. He must be great to interview because he is totally at ease and has great vocabulary skills, i would day that if the products are good then he will sell them.
No mention of southern so i guess that was planned...so was it because things have stalled or are we very close to the main order...that sure would kick things along nicely!
There is an art to the writing of your posts Bitter!
Completely agree GVS368 I just watched the interview again and thought exactly the same.
Today is a good start and with a few more days like today....Denora Warranty, few orders and some revenue we may just see the tide turning for the AFC Phoenix!

BumbleB ...There has been a lot to digest today.....I misread your 16:48 post ....last paragraph.
What are you reading that suggests otherwise Klunk?
Klunk, They have said (at the end of October) that the commercial product will be ready for December.
They are inviting shareholders and partners to see the first system on 6th December after which it will be taken on the road with Rolec. That sounds more than a prototype to me, but perhaps investors attending the event on 6th Dec should seek clarity on that point.
BumbleB ...Fair enough....I will invest in new glasses.. :)
Did I say they Klunk?
Sure we haven't flipped into a parallel universe Daz?
BumbleB.... when did they mention commercial launch subject to the demonstration ?
We are agreeing on everything these days Bumble, whats going on ???
i think we are gaining traction at last because we have the eV charger pretty much in the bag next month, i'm not too fussed about the other products, i never thought we would see the day to have confirmation of a commercial product. Happy days ahead.
gvs,
I don't think that the company is pulling wool over our eyes about the high density cell. They said in the RNS on 7th November that the high power cell would require further work on a prototype in 2020 before it was commercial:
"AFC Energy is working to demonstrate a pre-commercial prototype HydroX-Cell(S)TM module during 2020 which it can collaborate with partners and prospective licensors on to integrate, under license, the HydroX-Cell(S)TM fuel cell module, with new innovative commercial applications."
The product that they have said will be the first commercial product is the HydroX-Cell(L)TM used within the ev charger. We have been told in the RNS of 28 October it is on target for commercial launch in December 2019, this to be subject of a demonstration to investors on the 6th December.
I suspect we will all have a nice Christmas present of a warranty and a de Nora deal by Christmas.
It think one of the most import parts is that next year there will be an income from the EV Charger, which will help offset R and D. What would I like to see now, is some kind of projection of unit sales and the margin.
No wish to be negative especially on such a stellar day, but a bit concerned by Adam's use of tenses...e.g. asked about Rolec development partnership he says they 'would' do things rather than 'will', like working with us on products. Everything sounds very exciting but I detect he's not ready to say we are there yet. Talking 'prototypes', 'more work to do' all of which suggests he wants us to be excited but knows the timetable is actually longer than we might hope for. Altogether a bit disturbing but maybe he's trying to be excited and honest at the same time. Listen again yourselves.
Certainly gives the impression that there is further news in the coming weeks, wonder if anything will be tied in with the Investors day next month? AB also mentions about potential institutional attendees at that day so for those going from this board keep your ears open and you may get a hint of who else is interested.
At least he isn't making wild claims regarding how the share price may go but I do feel that AFC are fully expecting it to go up as news and developments are announced - hopefully to levels that will at least have the LTHs feeling happier with things.
Will be interesting to see what comes out between now and the end of the year, here's hoping it will have us smiling again

I think the video is getting seen given the renewed interest this afternoon. Keep thinking I’m looking at the wrong share...
Yes gave a confident analysis of the technology, this looks impressive.
The biggest thing for me in that interview was when AB talked about the new director Mr Agnew who said he thinks AFC has hit the Holy Grail.
Just listened to the full clip and very impressed. As you say fuel cell AB looked very positive and so he should
"I am sure that we will start to see a strengthening of that share price as we all already have". (18 minutes in).
This implies that the share price is just starting to recover. AB would be mad to say this if he expected anything to stop the rise, especially with the investor day coming up that he also talked about a lot.
It must be said that this is the most positive interview that I have seen from AB for a very long time!
