I can’t see an issue here. Notes is hardly Jimispam. Done with the best intentions.
If AFC is concerned they can always disable the ability to make comments on their posts it’s as simple as that - they rarely respond if ever to their posts anyway - I’d be much more concerned with Twitter I’m not a great fan of that as such an early stage in their commercialisation comments made on this tend to be not from professional people as much as linked in -
If you post anything you have to expect both positive and negative feedback but again the earlier comment against notes was below the belt and lowered the tone I’m glad it was removed so quick and I hope afc responded privately to the prospective male privately -
I’m looking forward hopefully tomorrow for some news from individuals at the event yesterday that anyone finds and posts and next week hopefully for the restart of some positive news and momentum once they get back to base
Just want to say i am with Notes on this one ....and for his initiative we should shake his hand ...not slap his ar5e....this is why social media is so important to business....otherwise what is the point of linkedin ?...if the guy from Texas is really interested he will be back .....i am sure AFC are man enough to cope with this ...
I would like to see some results of the stretched commercial team if I’m honest...
Jim’s attire wasn’t an issue for me but the company need to present the correct image whatever that may be. I’m not a sales monkey...
I’m sure Tex realises it’s a public forum and idiots don’t have to apply, just post.....it’s the world we live in now.
Notes,
I was obviously late to that party and missed the comment. just as well !!
Just liked the comments and guess I got to start watching these linkedin post..
Think we will see a bounce tomorrow afternoon :)
Exactly Southerhay! I glad the comment was removed - I didn’t see it but reading the comments made me cringe.
International shipping has been available for some time ....how else were they going to get a system to Australia...
Madtitan I agree. We are not qualified to comment in this area in my opinion. We can like comments for sure but I’d refrain from commenting unless anyone works in this field. Just my opinion and everyone is free to do what they feel is correct.
Obviously the idiot who replied to Notes’ comment doesn’t understand LinkedIn and how powerful it can be to AFC at this critical time.
Absolutely agree BB. LinkedIn is a professional platform and is important to maintain that professionalism - comments like that are completely counter productive. I would suggest even the comment about worldwide delivery being available “sir” should not have been made. This should have been left for afc to officially engage on and follow up.
That’s comment was low who ever that actually was I don’t recall seing that type of comment on LinkedIn - however I would still highly recommend to share their posts - one share to the right connections and this could lead to a major deal for AFC a post or the right thread can go viral and help many a business - my thoughts is they need to use this large network place to the best of their abilities or get others in that can promote through these methods -
I must admit I do like LinkedIn, for many reasons on a professional level though for this particular situation, it gives you a chance to have a look who's liked posts or shared them and speculate....
I noticed on an older AFC post that a fund manager from my bank had liked one of the posts. It got me wondering if my posts in the Norwegian share forums had perhaps got his attention and brought him there... I'll never know the truth, though it made me think perhaps our comments on the Internet may go further than we sometimes think.
" undoubtedly on the cusp of great things"
A comment made by head of investor relations for Harworth group. Who held the event in Sheffield.
