Nick,my point is especially with Acciona we have known about for 2 years ? What happens if they, Keltbray, Mace all decide it’s not quite what they want, so more development ? There’s hardly a long list of construction companies ready to take their place. At least gm put their fuel cell on wheels so it could be towed to site by van, has AB ever been to a construction site ?
“Acciona deployment, keltbray lease, power tower launch, power tower ABB integration and the Urban Airport update.”
“Seriously what planet are you on, that is plenty of news.”
Acciona, Keltbray, Mace, all old news, we should be getting trials like these announced weekly by now but we get a new partnership every 6 months with no guarantee it’ll be successful. Power tower, no forward orders, ABB integration drags on while ABB announce actual orders with other partners. In fact it’s so depressing here that nobody wakes up expecting an RNS any longer. Is it still early 2022 ?
Acciona deployment - I only believe when delivered and confirmed by acciona ! keltbray lease - see acciona comment, same report by Kelterei - power tower launch - like EV Launch , no deliveries, one at urban only - power tower ABB integration - not seen yet not promoted by ABB yet - and the Urban Airport - still in testing and not a contract yet - no information which unit - so a lot of nada and nothing real substantial yet - carrots
ASK yourself why this board is not resourceful anymore ? You blame the wrong people, because with nada visibility, nada resources delivered and nada comma the board is a mirror of the incompetence of the BOD and specially Binoccio
“I believe it's being badly managed hence the debased SP and lack of commercial progress. How long are shareholders willing to be strung along for? We need better and more regular Comms and a management that care about the SP. Where's the new website for example? The lack of engagement from management just goes on and on and the SP drifts down further and further.” - Garonne
I cannot disagree with any of these points. Investing in the company based on core IP and potential market is a good enough reason to be invested. One does not have to agree that the management is doing a good job in order to remain invested, as part owners of the company such investors are within their rights to call for change or improvement.
Currently, Afc do not have a single product that fits both criteria of being a) a complete product and b) something that the market wants.
Power tower is not complete, and the exe system no one wants as it’s too big. We are currently in a no man’s land and our CEO is frankly, missing. I hope as much as anyone we complete the development of the power tower and can announce something soon, but there is still iteration involved for it to accept methanol, and then ammonia = seemingly many more months of R&D. Not wanting to crystallise my loss, I have clearly decided to put up and shut up but on the other hand, I question why this company is worth £190m, and not £100m, for example? What props this up? There’s no complete product, misinformation and diversion coming from the management, and little sign of this gearing up to become a manufacturer turning out product at scale.
I hope for a robust update soon. I hope to god he doesn’t release another flaky RNS. I’d rather the silence.
Confused and worried. ‘No axe to grind’. GLAH, DYOR
You're right guys AFC has massive potential which is why we're all invested here but it's infuriating to see that potential being squandered by inept management. It's all smoke and mirrors with no real information about where the company is on its commercial development making it into the public domain, leaving investors to guess as to what's really going on. Bond is a past master at stringing investors along by creating the impression that the big prize is just around the corner. I remember thinking after the Dunsfold to Dundee dash that orders would be announced any day! Lol.
We will never know Aim. Personally, my philosophy is 'separate the people from the problem'. In practice, that means not trying to understand who they are or what motives them, but instead only considering and challenging statements they make about AFC Energy.
To add to Garonne, a lot of companies in the segment went downtown last two weeks , but made a return , check Füllsel energy chart, only AFC goes down and stays there, to many cheap shares as resent by AB and only hot air promises , for that this CEO is a toxic joke
I thought you were above all the derogatory comments Seg. Obviously not. Listen I want AFC to succeed but I believe it's being badly managed hence the debased SP and lack of commercial progress. How long are shareholders willing to be strung along for? We need better and more regular Comms and a management that care about the SP. Where's the new website for example? The lack of engagement from management just goes on and on and the SP drifts down further and further. Very poor.
OK Aim. ITM down 37%, CWR down 41% and the winner down 54% yes you've guessed it AFC! Let's not forget MCs. ITM £1.8 billion, CWR £1.3 billion, AFC £190 million! AFC is not in the same league but we all hoped that it would be by now. Sadly not and that's because it hasn't delivered anything truly commercial to date despite assurances to the contrary.
