Last year Christmas was on the 25th December, this year Iām predicting it will be on the 25th December again. Seriously what a plum. Who really cares when itās whats in it that counts and Iām pretty predicting no news on anything we are waiting for, just more grandstanding.
Haggis was expecting Prince Charles to buy a few FCs for his estate after his visit, he was expecting sales to land in September, was expecting contracts to be announced after Extreme E at Neom, he was expecting orders to be announced during cop26, and a few on here think heās so knowledgeable!
Donāt get too excited Mr Optimisticā¦ they have to give 15 business days notice and weāve got two bank holidays to add to that.
Well isn't that a coincidence? Almost the same date that a Half Year Report would be expected. So I still expect said report on 23rd or now possibly 24th. And I think good news prior to it is even more likely now there's a vote to secure.
"a General Meeting to be held on 24 June 2022"
As I said on Sunday....
The Half Year Report 2021 was released on 23 June. That was the 4th Wednesday of June.
There are now only 25 working days to 23 June 2022.
There are now only 24 Working days to the 4th Wednesday of June 2022.
AFC have been very quiet since 28 April which makes me suspicious that material news could appear between now and the Half Year Report, as there is obviously a lot going on in the background on all fronts (R&D, Sales, partnerships, manufacturing and distribution, etc).
The longer you go without AFC releasing news, the higher the chances of news appearing (because they cannot go forever without releasing news). It's a simple law of probability.
Going by the stats, AFC has in the past two Years had a max of 1 month and a couple of days where it didn't produce news, which happened 3 or 4 times. We have just passed 1 Month and next week will be into the couple of days past that, so for me the clock is ticking and we should not go much longer without news.
Spot on Haggis......AFC energy building a great team of leaders in the field.......
Oh look, NEWS!!!
Good news too IMVHO, as adding another Director shows that there is a lot going on behind the scenes.
I disagree Kev, both Garonne and DW raise very valid objections with the way the company is being run.
I can see how the persistence is annoying and can weigh down people trying to be optimistic, but, in a world where even Haggis has even run out of content, the company need to throw us a bone!!!
What a fake you are.
In your opinion Cheek. Funny how you're happy to accept Aim at face value despite his obvious hidden agenda. Maybe you're not all you seem Cheek. Too judgemental and sanctimonious for my liking. BTW what's inaccurate about stating that without successful deployment of AlkaMem (AEM membrane) AFC will not succeed?
A lot of what he says is true Aim. Can't you see that? :)
Youāre not balanced at all . Like aim said. Disgraceful posting as usual.
Unfortunately Aim, bulletin boards are not solely the preserve of rabid rampers. There has to be balance and in the absence of vital information on how AFC are progressing in developing their products it's understandable that doubts exist as to the likelihood of success, especially given the CEO's propensity to exaggerate on future developments.
There has to be an update on AlkaMem progress, hopefully a positive one. Remaining silent on this would be a red flag as it's success is integral to AFC's progress as a commercial entity. For all Bond's crowing about the Holy Grail back in 2019, it has yet to materialise 3 years later! It's crunch time for Bond as he now has to produce the goods to progress the ABB deal and everything that flows from it. If he doesn't there'll be no hiding place this time.
100% certain that there will be news pre half year report. Question is, will there be any substance to it?

Absolute Genius. Are you out of content Haggis?? lolllolllllll
Iāll go with 99.9% probability which is what an AFC fuelcell will take hydrogen wise ;)
Jim
I thought that was worth a tick-up haggis. Well near enough!
It's surely 99.999% more likely to be good news.
25 sleeps ātill the half yearly reportā¦ are you for real.
And we're all hoping that when the news comes, it will be GOOD news!
