Unlikely, but is it possible MSP wrote diesel by mistake instead of Hydrogen/ammonia?

As Bumble said, maybe here?
I am not sure if you missed this link but you need to read the question posted by Robbie Adams and the response from MSP

No DW. But MSP have said the battery packs are for Saudi.
So you are suggesting then that they are for Acciona in Saudi ?
I thought Acciona were to trial a fuelcell on ammonia and hydrogen on a Spanish site ? Not a hydrogen Solar diesel hybrid in Saudi ?
They could ship the completed stacks to Saudi and complete the installation into the bk gulf provided unit there - that would reduce the amount of shipping required at least.
Well tomorrow we will find out who/where/when/why. Not long to wait
The ExE fuel cell container hasn’t actually been loaded yet. The St Helena is on way back to Jeddah where it would be loaded back on. Izy’s Instagram account earlier today had footage of the ship with no load on deck. But agree this is more likely to be a fresh new order, hopefully cleared up at 7am tomorrow
Could be a good week, or a very good week ahead.
DW - I wasn’t suggesting we outsource the assembly, rather AFC would do it and demonstrate not only a working product but the ability to put it together locally. Realistically however it may well be done in the Uk to showcase Dunsfold and prove that is the right model for further strategic hubs, one likely to be in Saudi.
Sorry, I was replying to B2, not BB2!
BB2, I agree that it logically has nothing to do with Extreme E, hence the need to release an RNS or at least an official statement about the new deployment.
If this is Altaaqa, which looks likely, then this strongly suggests that the companies are already moving past the initial discussions and at the very least are entering a trial phase which would bs very significant and, once again, be worthy of an RNS or official statement. Interesting times!
Acciona in Saudi ?
Did you read the LinkedIn response by MSP DW ?
That's what I thought. Assembly, testing and commissioning at strategic hubs. Dunsfold is OK for UK and EU deployment but why ship from Dubai to UK and back to Saudi.
AB also states strategic hubs in the manufacturing partnership RNS.
FCI, MSP clearly state this is to support AFC in the latest deployment and flow this with the hybrid system so it has to be something new since ExE.
I’m hoping it’ll be put together in our new premises in Saudi... Why ship from Bk gulf to the UK and back again when they could put it together there?
The battery will be of no use in Saudi without the AFC fuel cell so this must mean that AFC are sending a fuel cell out soon, especially as MSP expressly states "This Flex-ESS will be supporting one of AFC Energy plc's most recent Hydrogen Fuel Cell deployments".
I really do not see how AFC can dodge this tomorrow, let alone at the AGM, as this would be the fist unit since the inaugural one for Extreme E!
The MoU RNS states
Altaaqa is aiming to complement its conventional diesel power modules offering with sustainable, zero emission alternatives for the Saudi Arabian and MENA regions
By this it could easily compliment by diesel hybrid as per the RNS last year from AFC in relation to diesel hybrid systems
Sure seems like MSP can turn out the Battery storage systems real quick .....
The MOU RNS doesn’t state anything about diesel hybrid.
The fuel cell for EE was packed up and loaded back on the st Helena so, it can’t be that either.
Hopefully with the AGM this week, Adam really does have something up his sleeve.
Looking forward to a good week here.
Thanks for the follow-up Bananaman2.......very interesting development .....should be an announcement soon .
That “someone” was our old friend Notes, who hasn’t been on here for ages.
Either Altaaqa or a demonstration unit to show other clients.
Hmm...perhaps Altaaqa have asked for one for testing?... It can't be XE as they've already left?

Someone asked where it was heading and MSP responded.
Anyone taken a look at the response from MSP on the LinkedIn page.
Apparently the unit is heading to Saudi to form part of a hydrogen solar diesel hybrid unit. The hybrid tech was identified in the Altaaqa RNS.
Looks like this could be a first for the Altaaqa MoU or perhaps developing to full collaboration.
BB2, you seem to be forgetting that 19th December was before IT started his role which saw a marked change in approach to LinkedIn and many other areas of communication.
Having said that, I can still recall the buzz/relief that MSP's post created and look what happened to the SP soon after!
