i love all the millionaires on here who can spend their day following bulletin boards all day, must all be lottery winners.
athansius,
it’s certainly a good time to be a supplier of plant. Legislation is our friend here.
The great thing Scarpa is that developers tend to hire diesel gensets in. So AFC need to approach the companies that provide them to the developers and push the green agenda. Progressive companies will wish to lead the way (just as with EV). That should remove issues around long term tie ins.
Has;n't this been going long enough and with everything having been said by now - several times.
Has no one anything to say before many sales will propel this into the statosphere?
This is perhaps the only Company which is preparing for mass production.
Chippy,
If by ‘public eye’ you mean potential partners/customers, then I’m pretty sure that they know about AFC. Most businesses have trade mags (physical or online) and if MACE et al are aware then it’s safe to assume the rest are.
Some developers may have ongoing contracts with diesel gen-set suppliers and need to terminate those before being seen to be negotiating with us. What’s clear from his recent interview is that AB has ‘several’ things up his sleeve and I’m ok if they’re MOU’s and strategic partnerships. Everything is moving in the right direction and when an actual figure quoting order is announced, things are going to move quickly.
Guitarman18 - totally agree. We know the Acciona unit is due soon and I’d agree that the MSP unit will compliment the FC just as it did the ExE unit. When AFC have built/tested the unit we will get an RNS to confirm delivery to Acciona.
We’d have had an RNS weeks ago if this was a new unit.
Agreed Scarpa50. It's highly unlikely it's a Saudi order in response to ExE demo. The turn around is just too quick. The ink wouldn't have dried on the contract - it was only last weekend.
I guess it is the Acciona field test unit, as mentioned in numerous communications previously, so AFC feel no need to comment further. There is no point having their comms people, wasting their time commenting on every counter rumour that may be circulating the playgroung that is sometimes LSE.
Aim. You are simply out of touch with modern investing and comms./media practices. Perhaps you should get back in your rocking chair, load up your pipe and dream of the good old days. My friend, this modern world is just too much for you!
Actually, if AFC wanted to keep the purchase of MSP equipment quiet they should have got them to sign a confidentiality agreement.
From MSPs point of view, it’s them marketing their own equipment.
More importantly why do afc feel the need to keep things under wraps if there is good news.
As every youtuber knows, the more content you get in the public eye, the more it helps your public profile.
Best guess is it’s part of a system which has already been RNS’d and we’ll get another release once it’s shipped. Progress, and we should all be happy with that.
DW you have to be a paid deramper. Everytime the market is open you come out with the same drivel.
How exactly is it ‘unprofessional’ of AFC to not control a PR person at MSP on LinkedIn? I have heard it all now.
The fact is the unit is going to AFC’s site and then of course ‘maybe’ it’s going to Saudi. Why would they need to send an RNS out to clarify their every move?
MSP have already corrected their statement.
Please sell your shares and move on.
It didn't take long to descend into the usual spat now that the markets are open. This is most certainly not helpful to current or potential new investors but then, of course, this may well be the intention of quite a few of the people posting.
Putting all the noise to one side, it will be interesting to see how AFC approaches this issue and I still think that they should provide some clarity as, through no fault of their own, information has been released to the market that could be considered price sensitive. Definitely a question for the AGM if they decide not to address this by then.
A clear need for clear strong communications, professional PR and transparency with investors. AFC is a B2B business that has depended on its shareholder base for funding and the journey thus far.
I have a good feeling about this today
Don’t miss out !!
Also desert do you not think they use generators when they build desalination plants
also to note, that Acciona is the major shareholder of Nordex SE(https://www.nordex-online.com/en/)
just have a look into Nordex order-books for the last 2-3 years and ongoing :)
Could acciona be placing it on a saudi construction site
I think acciona as well
Didn't expect it to go straight to Saudi anyway. Dunsfold for test and commission first. Its definitely going there eventually. Just can't agree on who it's for.
If it’s being covered up it must be significant
I think it's now incumbent on AFC to clear up any confusion. RNS later today?
It’s likely the first comment was correct and I’m sure someone is in trouble for it!
Even more strange is they also said this
This one is heading to Saudi hydrogen solar diesel hybrid..
Wow. AFC had a word with MSP ? Keeps us guessing anyway.
That is very strange how they can say its going on a long journey, then to say it's going to Saudi Arabia and then backtrack and say its staying in the UK. That doesn't add up.
Well done to all off you for digging into this.
