It was one of the reasons I invested here, no hype, solid board and a really tangible background. It's a hold and build for a few years which should see decent price corrections as mining progresses. As it should be, a good old fashioned investment.
Yes if this had been an RNS by one of the other many AIM listed gold stocks we would have seen a 20-40% move today.
There is even one mining company PAT that went up 160% in 2 days on the back of nothing, nothing had changed, no RNS and no news, just very cleverly organised group ramping I think. You may have seen that.
Funny old game, but AEXG will have its day. And their gold assets and plan and massive cash pile in the bank is very real. Slow and steady with this one!
Yes...no volume. Tried to buy some more today but bid only...very few offers. The board have a very strong group of investors who are long term holders.
Agree Somerset, I really good RNS but little trading at the moment. I'm guessing we are still below the radar to many?
That’s a great RNS with some serious Gold results!!!
Only the beginning of what this Gold mine will keep giving us. It’s been worth the wait!!!
Story seems to be that it's fully funded, with no debt, which hlpefully de-risks it a bit relative to its predecessors. Corporate presentation is quite informative: https://www.aexgold.com/investors/
Just to add my post is in no way a reflection on AEXG as I know very little about the company yet, my comments were in regards to Angel Mining PLC which went bust in 2013 from what I can gather.
I remember the Angel days! Their first gold pour turned into a bloodbath as it was not what investors were hoping for! Also from what I remember they were building some sort of cable car up to the mine? Not sure if it ever got done but it was a nightmare share at the time due to the banking crisis kicking in when they needed the funding! This is bit like de ja vu! Hope AEXG manage to pull it off.
From what I understand, the previous operator built the processing facility inside of the mountain - a costly mistake.
Geology looks solid. GLA
Hi Jimmy. What was the placing price?
I was invested in Angel mining that had the rights for Nalunaq before going bust. Lost a lot of money there but interesting to see how this new firm will do in comparison to Angel. Dec 21 before production begins so plenty of time.

As well as being the 1st person on the companies discussion board I'd like to say best of luck to the company & anyone invested here. I'd I receive the money I'm due today for a completed contract I will be placing a modest amount into the company as gold just seems to be the safe haven in these trying times. GLA
