Yes, spot on, the way I was thinking, Arttrader
HaHa ;0) I would say welcome to Tanzania, but you are already familiar with Tanzania.
Still can's blame them taking their time as it sets the base domestic and LNG supply terms for the next what, 15 to 20 years?
Happy Friday!
What year?
End of September.
"Both parties are encouraged by recent positive movements within Tanzania in relation to the progression of licence activity and are keen to move matters forward for the benefit of all stakeholders"
That ones November, been a while?
I’ve patented “licence to drill” ......what was the date of that update please?
Only one bit of news that any holder is waiting for art....
"We are encouraged by the ongoing discussions with the Tanzanian authorities to be able to accelerate the planning for the early spud of the Chikumbi-1"
A licence to drill.
Yes I know your reasons and we do want to hear all news good or bad ... I said lol after my comment which was tongue in cheek. I need to be more literal
Thanks for the info
Art, Occasionally I post news as part of my research. I hope not to offend. For the record I am a LTH in AEX and have been for a few years. If the news is sometimes negative so be it. I have no agenda, unlike some that turn up.
Smudger63 .... keep that news to yourself please this place is for good news only lol!
Most holders are stuck with this stock and probably think it ain’t worth selling as there is still hope.... Rigz for instance bought at 5.4 and got out at 3 but had he not sold at 3 he’d still be holding and thinking I’ll keep these as I’m not losing £8k I may as well keep em! Now he’s thinking ah 1p sounds cheap and so he’s back in looks like a 100,000 buy this time round and I really think he will make back the £4K if he sells when this breaks out, as it does. We are all in it for the profit not to support the lifestyle of the owners. Institutions get a nod and a wink and probably the odd stop loss.
Anyway I’m in and if it drops I’m still in ... TIL that glorious day when it hits 4p again
I'd disagree with you on 'investor' claim artrader. 3.5bn shares outstanding in this company, and barely any daily volume. 50% is held in institutional and mgmt control. Amost everyone is staying put, waiting for next phase to begin.
Clear to see the massive possible upside here but it is disturbing to read what is happening in the mining sector. Let's hope the treatment of O&G sector is a little more favourable towards investors. At least we have Shell waiting in the wings for the impending PSA reviews to go through.

Been in here for long enough to see the trends, the SPs gone down for the past 5 years and when it spikes it falls straight down again. There’s no fundemental investors here just day traders , there’s nothing wrong with that it’s been very rewarding buying at .95 and selling at 1.25 for the past year. There’s no reason to hold this share for the long term as the 5 year graph tells you and the fundamentals are all in brackets.
I’m risking very little here at .95 and if there’s good news I’ll sell out along with most others and continue in this way until the day there’s some results on their balance sheet and the chance of a dividend then I’ll hold......but extinction rebellion feats I haven’t got that long.
Look at SHG they are in Tanzania and have learned what to do it’s not a tip but just an example of what I mean by fundamentals. Dyor gla
Other than perhaps some slicing, I expect most will hold for the massive CH-1 drill post licence art.
Just stick a few hundred in because if there’s good news this will go crazy, on the other hand if they don’t get the licence you’ll only lose a few hundred. And remember to sell on the spike as everyone here does....
Thinking about getting back in now. Was invested a while back, @ av 5.4, but sold out at a loss in early 3s when Tip top sold. Hope I've timed it right this time around, Lost over 4 K last time.
