Alca P - For what it's worth I have been a continous AEX shareholder somewhile before we were paid the one and only Aminex dividend ! I also was the proud possessor of warrants, later to become worthless warrants. All is not set fair with Mick2020. If you take a look, he is not singing from the same song sheet as their lady CEO. For us, our new lady President offers a glimmer of hope down that long, long tunnel we are all trudging and cant believe any approvals will be refused ARA pretty certain to be conducting the 3D seismic and that RNS should be the next spike.
All the experts ,lths, self proclaimed lths, shorters, rampers derampers, geologists, charters, weasels, rats, snakes and newbies will be back in due course and of course Mick from Wentworth
Probably are discussing a lot before beginning the work programme, making sure that everything is signed sealed and secure. Hopefully won't be long. An update on events post dating the annual report is a must. Preferably licence extension announced same day or at least positive guidance.
the thing is, it did form part of the works program in last years RNS (Ruvuma Licence Extension Granted)

"Complete the negotiation of the Gas Terms for the Ruvuma PSA with the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation"
All very "logical" BG but then when did anything that ever happens in Tanzania follow "logic".....? Maybe things have changed and I sincerely hope they have but to expect it to be so would not be so "logical" as it would defy the lessons of history. But then logic is deductive whilst "learning from the lessons of history" is inductive ;0)

yes agree pageofcups, and maybe now, that is, before the 3D seismic or further de-risking of the Ntorya discovery, is the best time for ARA to negotiate those terms with TPDC, as APT can claim that the joint venture, carry all the risk.
With Tanzania needing gas to fill those pipelines, one would think they are keen to agree commercial terms so ARA can invest the $140m needed to deliver the gas, otherwise those pipelines won't be getting filled.
the only possible reason i can see for any delay, is that APT/ARA want the commercial terms for the development licence (agreed and in-place) before the acquisition of the $20 million 3D seismic survey. So maybe all waiting on those terms ?

Ruvuma Operations Update - Roadmap to "First Gas"
"The work programme and budget for 2020/2021 anticipates a gross JV expenditure of approximately $23 million, for which Aminex is fully carried for its 25% interest, and is expected to see the acquisition of the 3D seismic, pre-spud activities for the Chikumbi-1 well, (negotiations of the commercial terms for the development licence), and the application for a further 1-year licence extension."
1p soon, going by previous sp pattern for last few weeks, with higher lows and higher highs.
0.85p will be next higher high break point.
It is concerning as the Licence Extensions was completed April last year so it needs to come soon to calm concerns if folk have any that is
Does anyone with half a brain care anymore Crusty ?
How long have we been waiting on news ? A decade ? More ?
The only surprise is that the dog still breathes.
"1p gotta go soon"?
Really?! Not without news. If we continue with the radio silence it will continue to slide.... News of any kind would offer a boost.
buys coming back. 1p gotta go soon.
What a drop on low volume. MM's shaking a few out before update. Got to be waiting for licence extension news to be holding off annual report. Still have a couple more weeks. HE1 news shows new Tanzanian President is speeding up permissions and approvals and not putting obstacles in the way. Lets be having the licence extension news.
Camaro have disappeared from the face of the Earth.

Sounds like they are expecting oil and gas activity in the Mtwara region to pick up. Aminex's location.
