APT not ARA
There is always the option of at Placing to save the bacon.....but it will never come to that. ARA need AEX for now. Could even use AEX to get a foot into Wentworth.
If Henrik is cool about things, who am i to know any better? Can't imagine it's like that at AEX HQ though - more like the air traffic control tower in Airplane, with Lloyd Bridges as Ambrose, 'looks like i picked the wrong week to give up amphetamines...' ..!
gone fishing, catch you latter
The asset would have to be sold or farmed out to pay the loan. Whether there would be a buyer?
BG. I was referring to the the sp actually but since you ask.
"depending on the direction of the F/O talks, the only security that could be excepted by ARA for the $5 million, would be security over Aminex's 25% free-carry of the Ntorya development ? "
Well depending on the direction of F/O talks it might well be 75%....? And then in a year's time when AEX are unable to repay it APT call in their loan. At which point, then, the curtain finally falls on AEX and APT "inherit" the license.
how do you know that HenrikG ? you cant just make wild statements without saying how you know it or come by it, or else it will carry no credibility.
Africa is a big place ...
Can you expand?
So I can get off the 46a bus then?
In Africa at the moment.
Stop speculation guys and fasten your seatbelts
I truly hope so OG
IMO it will be extended for another 2 weeks. The message being to shareholders is that we are almost across the line.
Crusty, "Hence I do not trust the common assumption that we must get this by 14th July. The next question is "and if not then what?"
well then i guess Aminex will then be obliged to grant (security) to ARA over the $2 million loan for the CGT, and the US$3 million funding arrangement provided by ARA. So i suppose, depending on the direction of the F/O talks, the only security that could be excepted by ARA for the $5 million, would be security over Aminex's 25% free-carry of the Ntorya development ? maybe then up to 5% could be at risk ???
BG personally my reservations regarding the approval of the farm-out do not revolve around "if" but only "when". I have learned the hard way not to trust ANY target dates or commitments that are contingent upon the actions and initiatives of TPDC or Tanz Administration and Government.
Hence I do not trust the common assumption that we must get this by 14th July. The next question is "and if not then what?"
And that are no good answers to that in my view - certainly on the immediate sp front.
especially now, that they, the (ministry of energy) has just granted Aminex the Ruvuma license extension.
"Do you really believe it now?"
without stating corruption, give me one good reason why not, and after all this time (PSA-REVIEW) and at this stage (CGT-PAID) why the ministry of energy will not grant permission for the farm-out ?
Many investors will not buy in until the news is confirmed - most would prefer to lose a few percent rise rather than take the risk on the outcome
This is why I am predicting a nice rise on the hopefully positive news!
grsshaw it that old adage "FEAR or GREED" I think Greed this time where the last 3-4 been "FEAR" even Oxford is due a WIN soon ;o)
Alot of folks going to be caught with their pants down this time I feel but if you "CRY WOLF" so many times investors lose there patients and go elsewhere but thats when you suck it all up and reap the rewards, but will the job finally get done this time around ???
Lol BC.
Do you really believe it now?
It seems only UWE or TANZY still do?
Me I'm thinking a deal of some sorts with zubs re other assets if we are very very lucky.
I've already mentally written this off so don't care either way.
Winder what our multi avatar conspiracy theory friend thinks, lol?!
I agree CP, it would certainly seem that "the market" is sceptical - and who could blame them on past performance?
I am looking to the weekend for news.
Be interesting to see if a few large buys appear if this will start a run up on the price and the opposite if sells!
very quiet but will the old fear and greed to come into play soon?
Good Luck in what you decide
SOMEONE TURN THE GAS UP PLEASE !!!!
Market does not believe it?
