Well, considering the Zubairs are going to spend $140m on Ntorya and have put money into Aminex at much higher share prices than today's, they so far have lost money. I believe they will want a return on their investment and to do that it's going to have to be many multiples from here considering the amount of money they have committed.
I'd hope they will, but why not already? A deal where they pay back on first gas with interest? Maybe they will eventually. 25% of ruvuma compared to 30% of aex? Where is the most value? They really need to show they have a means of funding till either raising at a higher level or first gas in sept 2024. There doesn't appear to be much appetite for the asset other than the zubairs.
ARA own a significant holding in Aminex. Why would they not support their own interest in the company.? Weird to say they might not.
They supported aminex whilst they needed the farmout to complete. We are yet to see if they'll support them now. I'm not suggesting they won't, but previous support was self-interest.
The recent history has Ara/Zubair lending them money if they are in a tight spot. Any reason you know of why that might not happen again, while negotiations over repayments are ongoing? Or even forgetting the negotiations but being repaid out of future production?
Why would Ara want to? Not sure I know. But they announced years ago that Aminex was going to be their East Africa vehicle and everything they have done so far is true to that.
MadStork why PDQ ? What's the urgency
They have conserved cash and reduced admin costs to see the company through to drilling.
They need to raise PDQ. I'll take the raise or buy in after. Don't see the need to buy beforehand tbh.
Is that not where the opportunity is with AEX? A beaten down valuation and poor sentiment that will turn. Get in before sentiment changes due to the scheduled work programme and drilling in 6 months.
PageofCups true fully I can`t say but I want some in for the drill and bought cheaper than I sold before so was a no brainer, like I said on the Telegram group I wanted skins in the game nothing less, I feel on the drill over 2p+ is easy achievable and it better rates than a bank but they have to drill of course and we don`t want anymore dramas now please board but they maybe a small raise to keep the lights on but it doesn`t have to be much 500k and SCIR did that before and in volume it pushes threw very quickly, although for SCIR it took bloody ages to clear and maybe some still left tbf, I think this will have no problem and they may be able to get it for 12 month warrant maybe or something after all they have got a asset worth something that proven already as most seemed to forget really, I`m hoping for some clarity next week but might take all of July as they so bloody slow over there doing anything but they know there is a drill on now (hopefully) and they want more production to meet upcoming demand GLA !!!
There is a reason for that ...and the last 3 years of sweet FA happening or honest updates on what's happening is unfortunately hereditary in aminex at this stage...The zubs run the show now anyway our team are just puppets.
When looking at other companies that are yet to discover any gas of significance, like HE1 or PRD, Mcaps of £148m and £38m respectively, AEX's Mcap of £22m is bonkers.
Second half is approaching fast when operations are scheduled to kick off. Awarding of 3D seismic contract and rig contract, with mobilisation of services in 2H for drilling in January. News on these anytime. Share price still on the floor for an already discovered gas field 1TCF onshore in a hot spot for gas projects.
Good time to buy fjones.
Can see a bounce back to 0.8p
Some drop over the last couple of days on low volume. Buying sub 0.6p. Won't last long as it's rather overdone with news inbound.
bought in today at .58 just to have skins in the game as folks selling before the results maybe they are clever and I`m not but wanted to have some now as I run the Telegram group and felt a outsider tbf, now I`m in the club :o)
Gas consumption must be a primary energy supply in the medium term, to reduce emissions from diesil, looks what has happened to Savannah Energy SAVE,in Nigeria. We knew things would be slow, not expecting much news until early 2022.Be patient, and hoping to still be around to see some positive developments.
Exactly Chris, but can't help but feel that there is a reluctance to get this going when you consider just how fast HE1 is moving in Tanzania!!
As per usual, it is all dependent on if the Tanzanian Gov can pull their finger out any time soon?
Hard one but I would say 0.5 is nailed on especially with AEXs undoubted skill at completely destroying the company’s SP over the past ten years or so.
5.0p or 0.5p? Which will come sooner?
Quelle surprise.....
You should be looking at 5p soon enough…….the weak hands are filling the larger orders of the big players
Thanks Page, been here a very long time, average at 1.5p.Down a long way but some time ago bought and sold to make £1000 odd.Still hopeful this will come good!!
A 3.3m sell at 0.67p, but a big buyer is hoovering them up at 0.7p
