didn`t even say you Crusty guilty conscious or none, I look at all trader posting on shares I`m invested in, anyway by end of November and probably how long I can last out to it will be sub .40 or above a penny, so by your usual standards Crusty you must be hedging/selling/sold for the demise of the SP, just a hunch and normally I`m been bang on apart from mugging myself off staying here and Solo but you don`t lose until you sold !!!!
are you for real Crusty, so you think that the Gov won't grant it before the elections because they think it will give the opposition an advantage to win. what ?
Well the one thing I have learnt as an AEX holder is that you can assume absolutely nothing when it comes to second guessing the Tanzanian Government. The one piece of information that is good this week is the confirmation by the TPDC that they have budgeted the Chikumbi -1 drill for 2020/21
When exactly the Gov will sign off the FO and when exactly it will spud is any ones guess.
Lol, FJ you are a joker - you have been accusing me of being negative for far longer than I have been in DDDD. Moreover I answered your question on just this subject only a few days ago and yet here we are again with the same unsubstantiated, hackneyed accusations.
Have you actually been looking at the trading in recent weeks? Have you actually seen the volume of net sales over that period? If you had been FJ you would realise how infantile and nonsensical your suggestion is.
"Evident"?! nonsense. Only in your bloody head Frank. Every few weeks you troll out the same old garbage - isn't is about time that you learned to keep your trap shut? The only person that comes out looking a bloody fool is you FJ.
For one final time my opinion on the timing of the approval has been consistent for months and I still have as many AEX shares today as I have had for months. So keep running off at the mouth if you want FJ but it only makes you look bloody ridiculous.
Anyway GL, whilst I agree in part with your logic, I am not convinced that there is any political advantage to be gained in granting approval before the election; no Tanzanian citizens will benefit for a long time. Indeed the incumbent government may conclude that they give an advantage to the opposition by granting approval before the election as they would be the ones to be seen to oversee delivery of the project when the current administration totally failed to do so. Indeed as I have suggested before it may not be so hollow a threat; we risk several years of stagnation of Magafuli is ousted whilst the new administration take their turn at the Brown Envelope "trough"....
Anyway GL, I do sincerely hope you are right. Though I fear that too many years as an AEX shareholder and Tanzanian spectator have eroded any sense of excitement or optimism only to be replaced with a healthy dose of cynicism
DYOR change of opinion around that time then selling and promoting another stock let me think, negative blar blar blar, casting doubts as every juncture H`mmm ;o)
"....someone been selling there (sic) share in the last few weeks and it is evident to me who they are".
Then please share with us the benefit of your omniscience FJ.
all I say someone been selling there share in the last few weeks and it is evident to me who they are "same old, smae old" lets hope you are caught with your trousers down !!!
If only the Tanzanian Govt thought like most of us do GL; nothing that I have witnessed in over 10 years as an AEX shareholders suggests that they do....
thank you gaslady
Never mind BG.
LNG is still a long way off...and a nice to have for the future - our onshore situation is closer in time and space requiring just a sign off as all that could be done has been done (according to the RNS talk) and any political advantage to exploit for leverage with a development so close to the election I feel could be taken - no point doing it after the election as the votes will have been cast...
what ?
Whilst the articles relates specifically to the LNG "debate" it highlights that the Government's focus is on the Election. Do you really think that the Govt would prioritise the Election over the LNG project but the AEX/ APT Farm Out over the Election?
Let's now listen to BG's desperate attempts at "grasping at straws".
Binoculars more like...

yes, rosy glasses still on : )
yes that article is about the LNG project
"It says the PSA review is complete pending the Attorney Generals approval. So, not just the sign off from the ministry for the farmout required?"
matherdj, Aminex has already been granted the Ruvuma (PSA license extension), that part is done and dusted, all thats needed now is for the minister of energy to sign off the Farm-out.
That was my take on it matherdj
It says the PSA review is complete pending the Attorney Generals approval. So, not just the sign off from the ministry for the farmout required?
not necessarily...the article is LNG project specific - nowt to do with our f/o..is it?
Only anyone with rose tinted spectacles would ever have expected or suggested anything else. Whilst it was a nice idea and kept peoples' chins up it was never a realistic option....
Looks like post election likely for FO?
