As we know it’s not ADV/CVN fault for the delay but it will be very disappointing to see further delay. In my experience on power stations (not oil rigs) delays happen from emergent defects and spares have lead times. My guess would be Go Sirius went to port for spares but that is purely a guess.
I would hope ADV/CVN wouldn’t issue an RNS unless sure.
Yep..
I haven't got a clue but does anyone think we might get a tow on weekend?
Cheers DPYC. Hopefully won't be too long before you can stand down from tugwatch. Happy times.

The gang is back together
Up to date:Pacific Valour now sitting beside Valaris 107 with the Skandi not too far away, rumour as it they delivered the new flux capacitor to get the rig going.
Nothing nasty just different opinions.
At least you're prepared to express your thoughts/concerns wyn. A dissenting voice is never a bad thing and luckily you can do that without the nastiness which pervades some other boards. Others may disagree, but I don't think I've seen any nasty posts on here.
ha ha! yes it would! I would make the omelette on my face myself! :0))
Wouldn't it be highly amusing if, after all of the speculation about the delay, the rig suddenly starting moving tomorrow :).
