Thank you, just want more prior to 5p. Gutted I missed Friday due to being busy at work.
Good luck.
Oiler87 where do you see the s/p settling once 5p goes? I'm going to top up Monday, hopefully.
There are two AHTS vessels with the rig at the moment, and a third one, the Pacific Valour, on her way back to the rig from Darwin, due lunchtime tomorrow. They could be preparing to start the rig move next week, which would fit in with the estimated spud date around second week of November.
Whether we are going to be moving the rig imminently or not we have the Pacific Valour and the Skandi Atlantic now in close proximity to the rig with the Go Sirius making headway and an arrival on scene estimated at around 4pm today. That will be the three ship Croasdalefc posted that had moved the rig to its present location with Jadestone.
Thanks Dai that link worked
@Jezzac..
Just took a closer look at the link, it is a PDF file, a download. I use firefox and it is set to preview PDFs in the browser allowing me to decide if its worth downloading. My silk browser simply downloads it.. If you have downloaded it then the file name will be "Skandi_Atlantic.pdf".. Might be worth checking if your browser can be set to "Preview PDFs"
They have another link with less detail..no schematics of the ships layout

Go Sirius travelled to Darwin (refuel / resupply?) it has now left Darwin and it's destination looks to be the Valaris 107 location. It should arrive tomorrow morning, so hopefully the rig will move tomorrow or Thursday. When is that Proactive investors interview again??

DAI.. I am unable to open the link..
Cheers Dai.
Some tech info for Skandi Atlantic, gives an idea of its role for the clueless like me

Thanks for the replies. I learn a bit more on the shenanigans of moving a rig.
Oiler87 how early would. a tow ship be put in proximity to a rig before towing? And given Croasdalefc's post is it likely they will use the same number of vessels to move it across to Buffalo?
ID78, living close to the sea and having seafarers in the pub I can access satellite updates from the guys rather than the land based AIS system, prior to that I gave up on was the rig still there or not.
Been watching the Valaris rig for 120 days as I have a position with Jadestone and a newer one with Advance . 3 vessels moved it from previous drill for OMV . Skandi Atlantic, Go Sirius and Pacific Valour
if you look at the photos for skandi atlantic one of its uses looks to be towing rigs. One photo shows what looks like skandi atlantic and a similar ship towing a rig.

Both were on the map Saturday, but I dont know anything about tracking ships..
Just
There they were, gone :)
Thanks, NoEasy. It's strange, it isn't showing on the map for me, nor is the Skandi.
The tugs are showing, and haven't moved which left me sceptical about whether the rig had moved.
I think I'll have to give up on this game, I'm not much good at it :-)
Still at Skua I believe ID78. Valaris is the dot on the map and its being serviced by supply ship Skandi Atlantic.
On the move?? It is out of range of AIS source 808 and the last reported position was 1day 6hours ago.
