The scale and pace of change implemented in the business in FY19 to effect a successful and rapid turnaround were extraordinary. Accrol is now a simpler, stronger and more operationally efficient business than it has ever been,' the company said.
Brakes off with that sell out the way.....poss 40p near term imo.
'Few days' even .
Expext this to keep going now for a rew days........still silent :)
..is so quiet after rns !
Nice to see Dan Wright (Exec Chairman) buying once again this week. For me (as I'm sure for many others) there is no stronger green flag than repeated and meaningful insider buying. Together with this week's purchase of 600K odd shares that makes for over 1m shares he has bought this year alone, and takes his overall stake to over 3m shares or 1.58% of equity. No wonder the market welcomed the signal with the shares marked up 17% today. Very intrigued to see what the next Trading Update will bring...
Very interesting.
Intrigued to see whats in the pipeline.
I've no idea. But I've just taken a look at today's trades, which are large in number - compared to the usual and also contain some quite weighty buys ..... a 100k lot, I saw along with a few 50k lots, all buys.
All good stuff for a share which is still "down on the floor".
Bodes well, I feel.
Any reason? Positive news on the Horizon?
....today, at ACRL
seems alot
The Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") has notified Accrol that it has commenced an investigation into the Company relating to certain statements that it made to the market between 1 April 2017 and 20 November 2017. Accrol is cooperating fully with the FCA.
Any idea what statements?
Is this rise a bounce to allow a few out, fomo or shorts covering?
I couldn't see anything special in the results
I’m looking for a 40 year plan on these now then. I knew I should have had a weekend in Vegas with loads of hookers and cocaine instead but no I bought these instead!!! By the time these do go up I will need viagra to go to the toilet let alone anything else. #loadofshite
kd37- Dear 60 grand ,To wipe your arse on,it drop back to 7p then go back to 25p after long while
Biggest pile of shit I’ve ever seen
Yer you’re knackered, i recommend either a baguette bar jay or ukog.
Down the pan.....
Is this the end of ACRL really after all this? Just some advice as I stuck over 60k on this at around 25p?
What is accrols competitive or comparative advantage? They blossomed through the recession period (post 2008) as this is considered a staple good. Owners realised this and cashed out. Competitors have caught up and now their business model is obsolete. They have inefficient operations and they can not compete any more. Truth is, the owners sold a lemon. They are already acting as consultants and sucking money from the business. Consultants are only needed when a business performs poorly. Simple summary of the business. Yours truly
The board blaming exchange rates is a disgrace and a cop out ! All paper manufacturers have had the same issues but there not losing millions of investors money, they should be a vote of no confidence of the whole board and appoint a board of directors from the paper industry possibly even the original owners on a consultancy basis and get back on track. TOTAL DISGRACE .
nice one...someone has confidence.
I bought 16409 shares at 12.42 and it's shown as a sell.
Buys or sells, thats just short term traders betting on volatility - dont mean nothing. The business has failed its investors. 1m ebitda is a joke from all the promises made and the cutbacks.
guess they were all buys cos looks like it`s rising
i bought,buys showing as sells
