There will be lots of interesting news coming out over the next few days and weeks.
I see Nicola Sturgeon was incorrageing everyone to take LFT's today which got me wondering.
If this new strain is a mutated as much as they say, I would be very suprised if most (if not all) current LFT on the market pick it up? Which gives me the bigger wonder, would they tell us that? They will know if they do it will give a certain type of person the excuse not to bother testing / a bit of just give up and panic could set in.
It must be getting talked about and checked behind closed door. If there is not a "don't worry current LFT's pick it up" statement soon, then the silence will speak for itself.
If they (LFT's) don't work for Omicron then we are back to a first past the post makes billions! and from what I know the Knownow test has the most likely advantage in this situation.
Yes, our TT for it is not due completion for another 6/7/8 weeks but we would be given a blank cheque to sort that out. 24/7 shifts and it could / Would! be on the market in no time.
Lots of ifs, buts and maybes there but watch this space closely.
We have an exclusive agreement to manufacture that test and if its 'the one' it would make ABDX a massive global player overnight!
@moniman
I agree , never been an antivax but it is getting a bit ridiculous I am getting my 3rd
Covid jab in December , what’s the betting on how many we get next year ?
Wouldn’t be surprised, someone’s been selling for weeks. If they do raise at a lower price then the directors are all bent as well
£35 k sell;if a sell;something stinks;Will there be a placing/fundraiser at a lower SP that those who are in higher participate in?
Government and Co’s late 2020 says… you need a Covid vaccine and you’ll be okay, it’s a miracle! Oh dear our experimental vaccines aren’t as good as we thought they were you’ll need a 2nd vaccine shot in 6 months, oh sorry make that 8 weeks and you’ll definitely be okay. Sorry our experimental vaccines are even worse than we first thought so anyone over 50 will “have to” have a 3rd dose 6 months after your 2nd dose!!!, Sorry again the vaccines are even less effective than our worst predictions, so everyone will now need a 3rd dose after just 3 months!!!! Oh fcuk# just come back every week and get a Covid jab and we promise you’ll be fine??? I’m getting concerned about this, is anyone else? Bye the way keep on eating the burgers!!! I knew I could always trust a politician!!! Aimho Adyor!!!!
I mean it should be heading back to a quid on the DHSC news alone. With contracts and TT news, we could well see £2+. If AVCT can trade at fractions of a billion selling next to nothing and spaffing money up the wall, then I'm sure ABDX can manage £200m+ manufacturing and selling tens of millions of tests a month.
A quid! A quid! I’m bloody holding on for more than a quid!
i agree 100%
looking at past history i remember it going to 60p
and earlier than that it went from 24p all the way to 85sh pence
now think about getting paid where the share price will reach
it will defo bring back confidence
and dont forget small market cap
less amount of shares and then boom it will go crazy
our turn is yet to come
save best till last? :)

I've noticed every time a few buys come in four or five people post on here about how this is dead in the water. People watching this on the sidelines are waiting to get in lower and frightened of major news landing before they do so post nonsense every time the SP finds it's feet. Looking at all the covid plays, Abingdon now offers the best value, and best chance of a multi bag over the coming weeks.
The biggest cloud hanging over this is the funding issue. If the government pays out, and the last RNS suggested they will be very soon, you'll see a lot of big news here in quick succession. You'll also see this around £1 again.
Abingdon is the biggest manufacturer in the UK and most of Europe now to the best of my knowledge, with news about to come on multiple fronts. As someone suggested, I suspect the big news may well be being held back so the major investors who were locked in get their chance to trade on the big news.
I am almost certain December will be the highest volume month for Abingdon since it listed. Don't let the morons on here shake you out of this so close to the finish line while it's right at the bottom. Lift off soon here in my humble opinion.
