I'm not sure I'd worry about the terms being adjusted, Ariana are in a strong position with no need to sell and with the strengthening of gold prices both now and on an outlook basis, if anything Ariana should be changing the terms of the deal in their favour.
I actually sold this morning, as I'm a bit concerned about the Covid-19 situation in Turkey which is escalating and could see production impacts. I'm aware this means I could miss out on a strong rise due to the corporate action but I had good gains to lock in.
Have to wait for the JV announcement with the mystery suitor brings. I am fearful that the current situation (think you can guess what I mean) will give the aforementioned suitor an excuse to try to amend terms in their favour. I have no basis for this other than if this powerful group can shaft AAU it probably will!
Hope all are well.
The first thing to do is increase the reserve size and then increase the mill capacity in my opinion. The throughput looks like a 50/50 blend of mined ore and stockpiled ore.
Hi Gambling Addict, it is out, but no RNS are currently showing up on LSE. Had to access the London Stock Exchange to view. Production of 5,129 oz. Record ore mined of 92,482 tonnes at 2.54 g/t, but only 53,480 tonnes milled at 3.22 g/t. So the limiting factor is not what they can get out of the ground, but the ability to process with a single ball mill. Stockpile now up to 150-60k tonnes.
Cheers, Ash
I reckon that's between 9 and 9.5 million dollars revenue for the quarter and now free of debt.
Not today either
Ive sold out in my nominee a/c to make use of this tax years cgt allowance.
Im just holding in my sipp and isa now. If the prices come down to 2.5p to 2.7p I will buy some more in my sipp.
Im just happy to be in a steady ship right now and is this tin foil hat stuff:-
In 1918 telecommunications radio waves were deployed. (Spanish flu.)
1940s radar technology was deployed (Influenza epidemic.)
2003 3G was deployed. (SARS epidemic.)
2009 4G was deployed. (H1N1 epidemic.)
2019 5G being deployed. (COVID 19 epidemic.)
Showing as sells on NEX
Looks like I bought back in the nick of time. Not showing, but two buys of £173k at 2.9p should show up somewhere. Happy days.
Cheers, Ash
Morning all, not all sells are bad news - 2 sells of 171k were mine. Just moving some money around to use up most of my wife's remaining ISA allowance for this tax year and use up some CGT allowance at the same time.
Cheers, Ash
I’ve always thought with AAU, the RNS’s seem too good to be true. The couple the last few months extending the deadline for the new partner are probably the most negative I can think of. On the flip side though, if after all this extensive due diligence the new partner still comes on board, it’s further confirmation that our assets definitely have some value.
It is mind boggling the number of people selling considering the grades that have been announced today. I almost feel sorry for the BoD here. They keep giving us good news but it seems like no one is listening!
Willowman, You nearly had me there.
GamblingAddict, people are selling, the share price has fallen. Maybe this is a bad RNS, after all grades of 10 to 36g/t Au and up to 247g/t Ag aren't particularly high it would seem. At least not high enough for irrational PIs
There has never been a bad announcement from AAU to my knowledge.
