What do you think the SP.woukd be now without the new JV?. With 2 years of debt free production at Salinbas and several more to come at 50% share, Tavsan round the corner for far beyond the original 3 year estimate, and with salinbas still 100% owned. Maybe Venus would still have been available with the profits from a 50% share in Red Rabbit. Of course we don't know but it would be far greater than 3.1p in my opinion
Yes the terrain in the Salinbas area is certainly challenging; it's steep, mountainous and not well-served by roads from what I understand from speaking to Ariana in 2017. Salinbas and Ardala used to be sold to us in terms of nearology to the Hot Maden deposit (some here may remember Mariana's blockbuster gold deposit?). But none of the drill results thus far have yielded anything even remotely as rich as Hot Maden.
IMO, even 5+ years later there's still not a lot to convince me that there's a viable mine at Salinbas/Ardala. We'll see.
I've mentioned this before on the ADVFN board that there was a guy who posted on here years ago who had knowledge of the Salinbas region and said it would be a massive project to create a mine there due to the landscape. Looking at how long its taking to get Tavsan into production, I can't see much chance of Salinbas being ready for 10 years. Its a long time and I was hoping for a SP increase due to Venue IPO would keep me interested, but that's probably not going to happen this year now. So SP may drop even further as people are getting bored and frustrated with the misleading timescales coming from KS. I'm hanging on for now but for how long??
Me too John.
Levi
MDV thinks he has a right to stay as Chairman due to his holding, and Sener is a great geologist and increasing a poorly performing CEO. The board needs an overhaul and an emphasis made on openness and honesty. I'd like the votes for and against at the AGM made public
Well I think in the Q&A Kerim put a wetted finger in the air and pencilled in 2025 for Salinbas but we know by now any date that Sener gives add another 2 to it and one for luck so if Salinbas is mining before 2028 I would be very surprised.
I don't have much of a worry with the assets. I just think a lot of Sener fans think he is better than he is. Great geologist yes but ****e Ceo.
Unfortunately MdV is no foil for the failings of Kerim and they make a great double act of BoD mediocrity.
To be honest my old mate Levi I am comfortable if it is underpromoted as that implies the quality is there and, as they say, the cream will eventually rise to to top. What worries me more is that there may be many Sener fans on this and 'the other' board who are convinced that AAU is a better company than it maybe really is. I am troubled by why 76.5% of the 'super asset' Salinbas/ Ardala was disposed of so cheaply. Assuming it is feasible to mine there (we have no idea of the costs per ounce involved yet) when will we see the first pour. 2025? 2030? 2040?
John the advfn board lost two more long termers today, the Q&A being the final straw.
But there are no replacements queuing up unfortunately.
This lot still doing all they can to seemingly under promote the company for whatever reason.
But the Q&A showed they were in no mood to change.
Very weak |SP ending, and it isn't xd yet which in theory should take it down by another 0.175p,
And there is another example of the lack of transparency. If I want to discover when BP and GSK go xd it is readily available on their company websites. Ariana is about to xd for the last part of the special dividend. You try and find it on the AAU website or elsewhere. It has been much debated on the Advfn website in the last day or so!

I know nothing about this
Not sure if this has been discussed before but I wasn't aware of this company...

It appears that Ariana E&D Ltd is the vehicle for KS and chums to invoice the rest of Ariana Resources PLC Group for exploration and administrative services.
It's worth reading the company accounts with some new ones presumably due before the end of September.
I'm not terribly comfortable with this arrangement and I wonder what others have to say?
