Dubai 06:50, I see! Did find it odd I must admit. I shall be hoisting the flag when the bid gets to 1.36p, when I'll be in profit to the tune of £55! :-)
Looking forward to the day i'm not DD
I have 1.3 million shares. I was so excited not to be in the red anymore.
TD
It’s all banter don’t worry. My comment was a sarcastic one. I am still in. Today I have promised myself not to check the share price every 2 mins today.
Banter is what keeps the forum alive. Plus the hope of the jackpot
BUT..........if I remember correctly, you said you were holding 1.3million shares. So whatever made you sell out for £43 profit??
Derogatory, not derisory.
However, I apologise to Dubaidave in some respects. I have always maintained that on AIM a profit should be taken when one feels it prudent, and £43 is still profit. So well done, if that has made you a profit over a short period of time. An evening out, just. Or a nice bottle of Bunnahabhain 12 yr old. Just. We all have our own goals. And you may believe that you will have a lower re-entry point around the corner.....who knows? You may have not had an awful lot invested, so with the spread, a £43 profit might have been quite good for you. I myself have fairly conservative expectations and targets, not like some at 40-50pps, at least, not in the short term. So Dubai, I apologise if I sounded derisory. I mean that. TD.
22.14 - says it all really; however, VGLA
21:01 Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Sold up for £43 profit, and deramping already! What a joke!!
Don't excite me so close to my bedtime.
Who knows what the next few weeks bring, i'm sticking with it until flow tests and then will reassess.
I wonder if BP will be watching closely over the next few months to see what they missed out on. Let someone else have the headache of drilling and proving up. Who knows a summertime bid may just be on the horizon if all positive...
Thanks BB
DubaiDave,
Re yours 21.01 - lots of reasons - cost of oil principly, decisions made to focus money on known producing areas, whilst not implictly stated in the following, I seem to remember comments way back.... Money switched to develop Badami field east of Prudhoe
Long read , but we'll reading if you want the flavour of BP in Alaska

See assumptions
I make them every month and I am always massively wrong. Lol
It’s called sense of humour
Everyday I tell myself don’t look at the share price. Every 5 mins I am refreshing on my phone ??
I’d assume BP left it after finding the oil as it was remote from other sites, they didn’t have the benefit of modern seismic to see what was there, and they had enough going on with other discoveries.
And didn’t I read this morning someone saying there was no interest here? 10% up on a day when no ones interested isn’t too bad :)
why would you be worried you are out :-)
certainly PMO are not.
Please can someone explain
I do not understand why BP would leave this area untapped.
Easy with all chat on here to forget why we are here.
