I'll drink to that lol
And on that happy note, I'm off to bed. Will dream of 10p in the morning!!! :-)
A very LARGE bucket list then........
Theres over 120 distilleries in Scotland.Eight of them in Islay.
Islandgirl, I would just love to do a tasting session ( ha! maybe several ) of all the various malts in Scotland. Would be a bucket-list scenario. Christ! How many are there??? Would take one a long while. What a lucky country !! Never heard of Bunnahabhain tbh. But sounds interesting! Have tried Jura scotches before, but memory fails me....?? I wonder why......
Only Islay malt I drink is Bunnahabhain, which I love.Like a Jura as well just across the sound
Islayman, one of my favourites! Even though I'm a Sasanach/Sassenach! Enjoy!
Much appreciated TD! As it happens, I'm watching the fitba in my local and it's just put me in the mood for one. I'll toast your health with it.
Was concerned for your mental and physical health dear boy!! I would suggest another wee Lagavulin to calm the spirits.
I was reaching for the defibrillator when I read that! I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that his comments were tongue in cheek. Wouldn't want to epitimise the image of the chippy Jock. We're quite decent guys at heart and when 88e comes in big, the drams are on me. I might even buy friend Miloh one! :)
Brom , if you get the chance , go.
Old, unspoilt, which is rare these days, great value.

19:28 that's somewhere I have just learned about, off mainland Greece looks potentially very nice, only ever been to Athens and Saloniki on business trips.
Gem, before Islayman has a coronary, it's Scottish, not Scotch, which is of course the more drinkable currency. And "real money"? You'll be upsetting the laddie....!! :-)
Royal Bank of Scotland in Gibraltar would not accept Scotch pound notes
Banks very often charge commission to convert them to real money, so who wants the hassle?
Hope you get to enjoy your malt. Islayman strikes me as one of the good guys.
Personally I`m eyeing a ruin on Evia in Greece(dream on).

19:02 good points, remember too that 88E is actually an Australian Company operating in the US and gives additional complications in terms of regulation, think specifically of trading halts although it also gives us regular financial reporting also.
We also have the hours difference that means that one market or the other always gets the "drop" on the other.
Can't do anything about the above.
As you say "You will have to get used to it." and I wish everyone would.
And at 2p bid I'll get my capital back and some profit, so will be content whatever happens. The free carry would be icing on the cake if the drill comes good. May not buy me that home in the Bahamas, but a holiday certainly so Islayman can buy me that Malt he promised!!
Some will trade some will hold. Some will ramp some de-ramp. Aim and main market listings are all different, not because there aim or main market. Each firm operates slightly differently. You will have to get used to it. Just watch for very small mcap companies. Avoid IMHO. The rest bis going to be suck it and see.
