DJW is still number 19 on the top 20 list of investors, with 39,404,762 shares or 0.62% of the shares in issue. Can't resist saying, he one who definitely doesn't want the company to fail!
Thanks MoneyHawk, next question only the top 20 investors are listed on 88e's website, is this the only publically available list of shareholders?
Pretty sure DW could not buy from the market while farm-out negotiations underway.
Thanks for the link MoneyHawk - I found the table of BoD holdings a bit of a jumble.
DW used to have over 100M shares, including options, but it looks like he allowed 44M to expire - there again I'm not sure I read it right.
I suppose he could buy more direct from the market cheaper than the settlement fees at present - that would boost the sp value (I think we'd have got an RNS if he'd already done so.)
Hi dougiek, you are correct that there are potentially a lot of wealthy people invested in 88E, I'm one of them (potentially!).
Unfortunately that wealth can only be accessed once we have oil on the surface ready for sale, and we are nowhere near that at the moment, but hopefully some Tier 1 oil company will do that via a farm-in so 88E can hang onto their coat tails and take a percentage of each barrel. Maybe then we long term, and long suffering, investors may not only see an sp that represents a break even point, but also turn a decent profit.
Sorry for posting twice and all my opinion only
Thank you for the info...so all in all getting on for 7000 holders. If all goes good with extracting the hydrocarbons there should be some wealthy people out there. Interesting times Surely derived/ proven reserves must be worth a dollar a barrel to someone?

Assume this is where Spinefx got it from.
Check 2 X post below. 6887 shareholders. Av of 1mil per holder.
Spinefx. I gave up trying to find the number of shareholders, could you please give an heads up!
So the avg holding is 920,000 shares.
Tend to agree with "scheduled" being a firmer term than "target date".
It implies that the event is part of a series of events rather than just a single dart thrown at a calendar.
I am sure we are in the 11th hour - a bit late for things to go wrong now - it is probably a case of coordinating how the announcements are made, and running them through the spell-checker.
The partnership is at least 3-ways (with 88E and Bex) and covers at least 3 time zones (AUS,GB & USA).
Where will the first news bulletin come from? - if it is done on Friday then it must come out "down Under" first (midnight-ish in UK), if everyone is to get the news within 24 hours. If it is to be released first in the USA, then I would guess it will be an afternoon (UK time) announcement - to my mind if there is no announcement in Aus on Friday, it rules out LSE or NYSE until Monday. Any other day of the week is fair game - for anyone not wanting to be out of this over the weekend, the weekend starts on Thursday!
Unless something pops up this afternoon, just 6 more "Ann days" remain.
dougiek On the 15 February 2019 there were 6887 shareholders
how many share holders do we have in 88e?..seems to me that in reality there are not too many.....Ps.my mate sold as very small company and the due diligence and final sign off took 3 months..so give the guys a break
