With you on that statement Bd.
Will add this "Spud" info :
Spudding is the process of beginning to drill a well in the oil and gas industry. A larger drill bit is initially used to clear a surface hole, which is then lined with casing and cement to protect groundwater. After the surface hole is completed, the main drill bit—which performs the task of drilling to the total depth—is inserted and this process can also be referred to as "spudding in."
KEY TAKEAWAYS
• Spud refers to the early stages of drilling when rock, dirt, and other sedimentary materials are removed with a drill bit.
• First, a larger bit is used to form the well, and then a second bit is put in place to do the main drilling.
• When the main drill bit is added to the process, the task is known as "spudding in" and occurs on the "spud date."
• "Spud to completion" is the time between the spud date and the completion of the well.
Hope our interested parties find this useful

I thinking they should have made greater progress than they did for Winx because this was a fully assembled rig that was on the move. Not sure who posted the article, but the pictures were pretty impressive. Happy to be corrected. I think tonight or tomorrow. GLA
Depends I guess if they’ve tried to keep to their timeline of spudding before the end of Feb..
So if rig was on site early Tuesday then spud rns Monday on ASX and Tue morning in London?
The Nordic Rig #3 was on site approx 7 days before spud on the previous Winx drill (as per RNS 15/02/2019)
12th Feb...RNS operations update...
· Spud on track for late February
RNS usually are right may not be an ANN tonight but we are on track allegedly.
Maybe something in the week.
Give them a chance lol they have to pressure test equipment BOPs etc etc lay out and measure pipe and the jewellery for drilling mixing of chemicals etc etc the news should start to flow soon GLA looking forward to next few weeks
I had a dream about announcement well more a nightmare, in it DW had to announce that when they got rig on site and everything ready to go they realised someone had been holding map wrong way up for last 3 years and they were in wrong spot.
I woke up screaming and woke everyone up.
Glad it wasn't real.
If we do get an update later on tonight, I really don’t think it’s going to make much difference to the sp I hope I’m wrong
I'm in both camps jiddy, part of me wants an announcement of a complete black out after winx fiasco. Part of me wants weekly ANN and SP rises weekly....arghhhh
I’ll take you spud announcement and raise you a ‘currently at depth xx’. Once rig is on site it is engineered to be able to start drilling almost straight away.
I'll have a tenner on it nutsy!
THERE WILL BE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TONIGHT
I would love to see a Trading Halt on the ASX (but NOT for a CR)
What we need is a shed load of black wins!!!
With seven stacked prospects, I would hope for weekly updates. Having said that, I am disappointed with what we have received leading up to this point!
Rig must have been onsite now for some 4/5 days surely something would have happened by now?
On the last drill how quickly were they to update us?
Jiddy
I will be there trust me. I agree drilling must of started.
It’s like roulette
And my luck it will land on green
I think that there is a very good chance of news tonight, as drilling must be about to start or has already started. The timetable on Page 7 of the 24th Feb Presentation was very basic, and I would expect DW to give shareholders a more detailed sequence of events over the next sixty days.
I for one will be tuning in from 10pm onwards - come and join me!
Guys
You are building up an announcement tonight to much.
There won’t be one as you are all wanting it
