The main thing I took from that was how much revenue they make from triller alone!!
Tens of thousands each month on usage fee and then for every music video used from the 6dig catalogue they get an additional payment ... now he said triller have 60 million active users ... do the maths ?? of the users are doing multiple daily uploads of videos !!!
SHOW ME THE MONEY !!!
Thank you to all those that have shared their views on the Webinair. Seems a consistent positive message from Paul. I will also look to try and increase my small holding for at least the next year. GLA
Watching the webinar now and I have to say its very impressive presentation, also it seems the global tech company is a huge player. I think Paul did an excellent job and a very optimistic outlook
Rob,
Just to clarify i believe most are expecting some Q&A because the quote below is from the webinar registration page entry for Paul Langworthy:
"We will be joined live by Paul Langworthy, CEO of 7digital and he will present the most up to date iteration of the #7DIG strategy and respond to questions thereafter."
Difference between guessing & doing your due diligence on educated assumptions. Presumably you know how much Tik tok pay for their music platform licensing fees & additional usage costs? If you don’t I suggest you find out & the make an educated assumption on how much 7DIG are charging based on volume comparison ;)
Great post Darkhorse, sums it up. Do you want to be invested in a business that is profitable from today forwards (when all valuations from before today have been of a loss making business) that's signing clients like Triller and global tech companies, that's in the hugely buoyant growth market that is music streaming, that has a platform that's obviously selling and attracting interest. I do. I can't make a random estimation of what the share price will be this time next year but I passionately feel it'll be significantly higher as I can't see how the business won't be worth more than it has been this year. Yes, this company could lose a contract like Triller which would obviously hurt, but at the same time we'd expect it to add more like it. I'm down on this stock but don't feel bad about it, unlike some others! Exciting times ahead I believe.
Itye, the point of the webinar is for Paul to discuss the company, discuss the financials that were released this morning, discuss the new contracts that have been signed recently, discuss the future direction of the company. Questions will be asked and answered but it will all be within the remit of information that's already been released. Not everyone reads all the RNS or the accounts so it'll be an easier way of hearing about the company while also getting to know Paul a little more.
You need to read between the lines & do your due diligence at this stage as obviously financial statements are retrospective & financial specifics within contracts are typically signed off with a disclaimer to remain confidential. As I said before, the contracts are based on units/volume & with this market growing exponentially in the current climate 7DIG would be 'finger in the air' forecasting. Your post suggests YOU are just guessing in this investment then LOL
Rob, whats the point of the webinar if there is nothing new or no questions asked? Seems a bit pointless
Mornington, Paul has already said there will be absolutely no new information provided in the webinar so no, questions will not be answered.
Maybe we’ll get some of those answers at tonight’s webinar
Absolute rubbish. A binding contract is confidential between 2 parties & the detailed finances wouldn't typically be disclosed - Especially for companies such as Triller who would want this kept confidential in regards to competitors. The recent communication has been very good...7DIG is now profitable entering into H2 with recent placing used for short to medium term significant growth. The market they are in is growing exponentially & contracts are based on units/volume. What more information do you want....can you not read between the lines?!
I agree with farraway. There is a lack of transparency and from an investment perspective that is not good. Seemingly the market agrees given the continued fall in share price. I can't help but feel the lack of transparency also means 7DIG have information they don't want to share or it's incompetence on their behalf.
Polarbear
Great post.
These are the questions that need clarifying and Darkhorsesurer re Projections of growth real value or projected value of contracts. These are not deramping but are questions any potential large investor would require answering
Bought my 500K as predicted. Will sell at 2p for a rinse and repeat.
If you look at the headlines - H1 2020 rev is down vs 2019, but active customers up from 34 to 45, so less revenue is now being generated per customer. Gross margin shows a minimal increase and costs have been cut. If you are having to take on more customers because each one generates less, you would think costs will begin to go up again. Cash burn looks significant too, £4.3mil left from the £6mil raise and £500k loan (unless it's repaid). They have also had to set up a RCF at a annual rate of 24% and personal guarantees which says Investec see significant risk in the loan and that is the key word...Risk, until that is reduced and growth is significant this share will be volatile.
You only need to look at the contracts to know this this going places. People selling will get caught out. Tonight’s webinar will hopefully Install lots or positivity and attract more buying pressure
My take from that RNS is still lack of any profit but future seems better. The share price may be falling as the company is still not proven as making profit.
Operating costs are still extremely high for a digital company. How many staff work there? I would believe a premises, server room and 4-5 staff would be sufficient. Maybe the odd Rolls Royce for the CEO on expenses.
It’s weird when you think how many companies with huge debt and non profit making people are happy to throw money at. I consider today’s RNS a good one with a very positive outlook.
Despite good figures the SP is falling, I dont get this share?
