Eileen,no need to justify anything, all shares are based on wishful thinking.
20$,s laughing,I doubt even Micky McShort is aiming for that.
koffee, Yes Tesla doing really well in Norway. However their product is subsidised and also as jep has pointed out, it is low margin so doesn't matter if they sell 3 million because if the margin is low, it will never currently justify the shareprice remotely
Here is an article explaining why "$TSLA on fundamentals is worth roughly $20 (bear case) to maybe $70 (bull case). Every $ above that is gamma squeeze and wishful thinking."

Chump
I have not confirmed anything I said that the deal suggested by Jep was financials not public relations and as you must be aware Tesla have no Public Relations Department; if they did have a Public Relations Department I probably wouldn't need to do all this FUD busting.
IMHO Q3 deliveries will be stellar again IMO in the region 0f 222,000.

Norway loves Elons gimmicks chuma.
Dog "They usually release the production / sales numbers within 3 days of the end of the quarter sometimes"
So Dog, you and Wolf will be expecting a big deliveries beat, from your bullish posts. Can you give us an estimate ?
Dogberry, that is even better that you have even confirmed your position in Tesla as a financial executive there. So please do share some inside information. What is Elon planning on the upcoming Quarterly earnings report? Can we expect anything more than cooked books and gimmicks this quarter?
Chump
This financials not public relations
Dogberry, why would we email Elon and the chief financial officer when we already have Tesla's public relations spokesperson here? We are asking you because we know you are on Tesla's payroll.
Jep
Email Elon and Zac Kirkhorn I am sure they would welcome your input.
Eileen
They usually release the production / sales numbers within 3 days of the end of the quarter sometimes even when that falls on a Sunday.
Jep
There's no point asking me why a multi billion dollar company has not raised more money as you suggest but I could speculate with the monumental amounts of cheap money flowing around the world there is no need to do so.
Anyone know when Tesla plans to release it's Q3 delivery numbers
Lots of buys today
koffee "Then I have no idea what you're talking about."
then koffee i think you have now confused everybody and not just me
When is the Q3 Telsa delivery announcement . Is it tommorrow after hours or next week
Then I have no idea what you're talking about.
koffe "illeen, why would i care how my electric is made?"
I didn't ask about how it was made
Eilleen, why would i care how my electric is made?
Eileen
I only use renewable electricity my tariff with Ovo replaces any of the electricity I use which is non-renewable with renewable energy when it is available.
lol koffee, when Dog and yourself charge your EVs , how was the electricity generated btw. (Gas , Coal, Oil)
So you havnt a clue then Chuma,do you reckon jep knows?,,as he's seen it all before etc.
"When is the bubble going to burst?" You asked Koffee. Well ....how long is a piece of string? It could happen anytime. Guessing when this leveraging scenario will come to an end is not necessarily the aim of the game. The aim is to position assets in alignment with fundamentals and to have a realistic economy that works in tandem with a stock market that is not over inflated with cheap money from insane fiscal policies. Robert Kiyosaki was speculating that the crash could come in October but he is one of many other people throwing wild guesses at the wall and hoping to get lucky enough to say I told you so. The next economic depression seems to have already began as the scapegoat has been chosen. China was the scapegoat for coronavirus and now Evergrande is adding as the catalyst for the next great depression trigger. China will be blamed regardless and we already have so many other gravy trains crashing and adding to the problems. We have the threat of inflation not being transitory, the threat of a deflationary deleveraging, the threat of an inflationary deleveraging and a whole host of other issues that threaten economic stability and the stock market will be like Swiss cheese when it's all set and done. Timing is everything but planning is a must. Tesla will be a souffle under a hydraulic press when the pressure starts. Chamath exited his Tesla positions and Cathie is unloading quietly whilst claiming to be using the funds to rebalance the outflows of her ETFs and investments and to ship around for discounts. In an inflated asset bubble? Discounts? Where?
Believe me Dogberry, the gut wrenching pallava getting from London to Lancashire weekend gone was not a pleasant one as it took me half a day in London trying to get diesel and two service stations later to finally get diesel as I was on empty.
Not quite sure what would have happened if that station was dry as I wouldnt have had enough fuel to leave and would have been stranded.
After 2 hours in queue all that was whizzing through my head was BUY AN EV BUY AN EV BUY AN EV EV,,,
Eileen
The Lucid Air is a fabulous vehicle and so it should be at $178,000 you could buy the most expensive Tesla Model S Plaid and a Model 3 or Model Y and still get change.
Eileen
You wrote 'btw, do you realise EV engines aren't even suited to trucks and lorries'
I did not realise that because it is patently and demonstrably untrue. Electric motors are extremely powerful maximum torque available immediately on activation which is why they use electric motors to drive trains and ships.
