You might end up getting something back if the latest news on Reuters is correct - I made a small buy of £500 at 2.1 going against everything I've been touting. Debating whether holding over night is too risky or not.
Yes I'm still in although not massive amounts now. 45% down so thought might as well stay in. Would be really annoyed if they recovered and I had sold up at such a loss.
It's found a lot of resistance at 2 I think if it breaks 2 it will tank to 1.1/1.2 I've quit my short position . Any bit of positive or negative news can see a .4 swing - way to volatile.
Anyone holding this still
"in libido."
Aye - Piler's heard they can be horny buggers them Germans!
This is certainly going to be a take a gamble, put your money down and wait to see if it all ways off. bouncing around in the 2s and 3s at the moment because no positive news coming out at all. hopefully some comes out soon so it will attract much more interest.
This company is the favourite child of the German economy. In the midst of luckin coffee and wirecard - it is for certain that the regulators are going to less lenient on companies moving forwards.
I personally have a feeling that this company and its image is to valuable to the German economy - that the govt will probably bail it out. Especially considering the amount of money people have lost/in libido.
As with everything - only time will tell!
On bloomberg can't post the link
Wirecard’s administrator says there are “numerous interested parties” in the company’s assets. Who wouldn’t want to nose around the books of this infamous fallen technology star? But beware of thinking that Deutsche Bank, or anyone else, will truly come to the rescue.

Interesting article
Pine Labs is also showing interest in parts of it. This isn't dead yet.
That will not stop Wirecard going belly up they will only save the banking side which is split....
After the scare of this going belly-up, the DB intervention shows that this business (or at least part of it) is worth rescuing. Makes anything less than €5 look like bargain-basement
However that will not help the fintec side and will probably speed up the bankruptcy situation...
I have no issues with anyone personally. I wish everyone good fortunes along the way. Opinions we all have and right or wrong hopefully we all profit from it. Today looks to be an exciting day already gone from 2.8 - 3.3 pre opening
Deutsche Bank said it was considering offering emergency financing
It's not actually that much good news, they only want the banking arm and are one of the 16 banks owed money = money making assets out of the group
I've left my short position running over night, if there is no news tonight Incan see this tanking again
I've left my short position running over night, if there is no news tonight Incan see this ranking again
I have left small amount of money in.
I'm staying in at 3.1, gamble but if the DB story develops and it takes off......
Anyone else pulling out? Think this is done...
I saw that. Doesn't seem to have had much impact. Anyone staying in tonight? Perhaps as it develops it will cause a spike...who knows...
There's news that Deutsche Bank is considering lending financial support. (Bloomberg).
Same for me.Went back in at 3.38; not sure if I should pull out before close. Don't see this jumping in the AM and I don't have time to sit and watch it tomorrow.
I think it will make a small raise pre close then dump to 2.5 ish but this is so volatile
Yes same here. Doesn't look like there will be a rise until any positive news. Kept a few just in case but made a loss as bought in too high. Seems the risk is out weighing the reward quite considerably at the moment.
