Good to see FARN doing well!
Thanks Will. Personally gave up on Synairgen . I have no b/g in pharma/drugs and just decided as no one appeared to be buying - despite what many claimed were promising signals in the failed trial results - then perhaps there was nothing there. Would be pleased to hear from anyone who can say yes buy Syn - but since then have made good most of my Syn losses in PXEN. Which quite possibly has another 160% in it over the next 6-12 months.
I work in drug development and there is no way an antibody therapeutic costs $2000 per course (Sotrovimab) unless they are manufacturing it in a bath tub...
IFN b is on the market as a biosimilar (generic drug) sold by loads of companies and produced in vast quantities. The only difference is the mode of delivery. It will still be more expensive that Paxlovid but will be cheaper than Sotrovimab
Blimey 2 early to post!
sp. Numis not Numbs
and my maths wrong - Synairgen potentially more costly that Sotrovimab.
Costs:
Acc to Reuters - Paxlovid is about $600 a course
Sotrovimab $2,000
Synairgen price is unknown - but according to Syn bb posters who had notes from presentations and research notes by Numbs they had a figure of £2,000 a treatment. So Syn cheaper than Sot by about 25% on current exchange rate.
anyone daring to add?
its cheap. is it reasonably priced for what it has become. any thoughts?
I had a feeling it might make it as an early stages treatment but Syn bb posters told me it was too expensive for early stages treatment. I will have to some research, I guess.
Still here Nolupus. Trading options in US here and there but mostly sitting on cash.
Alive. Quietly accumulating IQAI and Arizona Metals. Looking at BRH but no spare capital at the moment.
I am still here. Good to hear from you Nolupus.
I spend quite a bit of time on Angle tele group. Also GGP avoiding most platforms! LSE for Scancell
Hope everyone is still alive …
Can you have a competition to see what goes up in this market? I had dinner with a friend last night who works on graphics and promotional material - he's currently working on a colossal skyscraper in NY that will be finished in 2030 and a city in Saudi Arabia that is going to be 'built in a long line' - his point was that money is moving, he is stuck in endless Zoom meetings in different time-zones and people are working and planning and building a future.
Even if there's no competition this month I would not be surprised to see SAR, Arizona Metals and PXEN go up this month. But...we shall see.
hi riseup, your not on your own been stormy times for awhile now.I have cut my losses on some and opted for divi plays topping up on shell/bp/ in increments. tempted to drop some in i3e, think this board mentioned this.
still sitting with copl at loss, dont know why ,must be soft spot or gut feeling.lol
some of the prices have been tempting, only to see them drop further.so cash seems to be king at the moment.
Currently watching mcro at the minute to see how it goes . gla
I haven’t posted for a while I hope you are all well? I read everybody’s comments regularly but have had no input to offer due to my failing portfolio! I clearly have a lot to learn as an investor as I am currently 40 per cent down in my portfolio. Tough times. On another note (I couldn’t resist) I have bought Caspian Sunrise. I just wondered whether anybody else is invested and what your thoughts are on this share.
Valneva just had a couple of good days. I bought in on the news (deal with Pfizer) - and still made 25%. Have now sold but probably should have held (just don't have the mettle).
IQAI - someone on the board worried TB might just take it private (as its so cheap) and then sell it off himself - is that probable? Might add but have some concerns.
bought it anyway. went up.
get paid soon. so ready to lose some more £ on the stock exchange.
looking at altimmune. it actually just bagged - so perhaps wait a few weeks/months to see if it dips.
but just starting to research this one. looks interesting.
Should say PDL-1
Xv,
Are you referring to the PD1 treatment? They have so many shots on goal and are often criticised for spinning too many plates. However I believe the science is in the right area. Burble, Bermuda Shorts and Inanco know their beans and I agree. Could be very successful.
Our very own Troajan is in the top five recommended posters LSE!
bulletin board sleuths busy at SCLP and HE1
on both boards posters believe they have found data that would boost sp value if it were RNS'd.
Hi
will go for
PXEN (think RNS was just followed by a TR-1).
SAR (hopefully found its floor - so up from here).
EISB
This month (June) I will go with:
SCLP 12.45
ANGLE £1.40
UFO .0077
Hi,
I didnt actually join last months competition which is why Angle probably got its FDA approval!
This month I will go with:
SCLP 12.45
ANGLE £1.40
UFO .0077
Good Luck!
Hi 1509, great result for Wales yesterday, I was at the game and fantastic atmosphere.
I think your numbers are out on a few. AGL ended the month at 147 so feel Bojo might be close to being winner.
I will go with
SAV
ARCM
CMET
Thanks for arranging once again.
