A man has died after a three way crash between a double decker, a tram and a BMW.
The collision took place in Croydon, south London, this morning.
One man, thought to be in his 20s, was killed and the bus driver was taken to hospital. A number of other people were injured, although it is not thought that any are in a serious condition.
It is not known whether the dead man was a passenger in any of the vehicles or a pedestrian.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Three vehicles were involved: a route 468 double-decker bus, a tram and a BMW car. The exact circumstances are as yet unclear.
"We do not know at this stage know how many people were on board the bus or the tram, nor how many people were in the car.
"London Ambulance Service attended and one man has been confirmed dead at the scene.
"We await formal identification and next of kin, but it is believed he was in his late 20s. A post mortem will be scheduled in due course.
