North Sea Crude-Forties, Brent weaken; Feb programmes due

Thu, 29th Dec 2016 17:26

LONDON, Dec 29 (Reuters) - North Sea Forties and Brent differentials weakened on Thursday, although a drop in the number of unsold barrels overhanging the market lent support.

The rest of the February loading programmes for the four benchmark grades - Brent, Forties, Oseberg and Ekofisk (BFOE) - are due out in the next few days.

* The Forties loading programme is expected to appear on Friday, while the Ekofisk schedule is due out on Jan. 3, trade sources said. Brent was thought likely to be issued on Friday.

* The Oseberg programme was issued on Wednesday and schedules a drop in shipments.

* Forties: Unipec bought from Socar a cargo loading on Jan. 27-29 at dated Brent minus 10 cents, down from a trade on Wednesday.

* Ekofisk: Glencore sold to Unipec a cargo loading on Jan 15-17 at dated Brent plus 15 cents, up from Wednesday's assessment.

* Brent: Vitol offered a Jan. 10-12 cargo at dated minus 40 cents, down 40 cents from an offer on Wednesday. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; Editing by Mark Potter)
