http://www.investegate.co.uk/webis-holdings-plc--web-/rns/new-pool-betting-contract/201305231443114685F/ Good news I hope WatchandWager.com signs direct co-mingling contract with PMU The board of Webis, the Group specialising in the provision of sports betting, pool wagering and Californian harness racing, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, WatchandWager.com LLC ("WatchandWager"), based in San Francisco, California, has recently signed a direct co-mingling contract with Pari Mutuel Urbain ("PMU") for wagering on French horseracing. The PMU is owned by the French Racing Association and operates online and offline pari-mutuel wagering on all French and international horseracing available in France, with a total turnover of 9.818 billion euros in 2012. The contract allows WatchandWager's US based customers to bet directly into the PMU racetrack pools on a daily basis, and also allows for use of French horseracing data and video streaming on the www.watchandwager.com website. The expected launch date for this new initiative is mid June. The acquisition of the French PMU content adds to the growing list of thoroughbred and harness racing content available, including its core business of US thoroughbred and harness racing, WatchandWager is now able to offer wagering on racetracks in the following key Tote territories: Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Sweden, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. The contract with the PMU is significant in that many other advanced deposit wagering companies in the US do not currently offer the ability to bet on French content. As a result WatchandWager plans to promote French racing to its US customer base as it seeks to provide a 24/7 international horseracing product to its client base. Ed Comins, Pari-Mutuel Operations Director of Webis said: "Signing with the French PMU is another feather in the cap of WatchandWager's US operation. The French have a heavy emphasis on compliance and wagering integrity, and to be granted the PMU rights demonstrates our commitment to these areas. We look forward to promoting French racing in our core market through the summer and in the run up to the prestigious Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe meeting in early October."

This change reflects its position as a multi-national provider of Tote betting services and to simplify its branding across all channels Regards Arfur.

WEB's wholly owned subsidiary, WatchandWager.com LLC ("WatchandWager"), based in San Francisco, California, has signed a major content licensing contract with Churchill Downs Incorporated ("Churchill Downs"). Churchill Downs is the NASDAQ quoted group, specialising in racing, casinos and on-line gaming, with its headquarters in Kentucky. The contract allows WatchandWager to offer wagering and video streaming on all Churchill Downs controlled racing content with immediate effect. This deal includes the prestigious Kentucky Derby, known globally as the "Run for the Roses", to be run this Saturday 4th May at Churchill Downs. The acquisition of new global content has been a cornerstone of WatchandWager's US development strategy. It also vindicates the recent publication of its Thoroughbred Racing Protection Bureau report, successfully demonstrating to the industry the emphasis on compliance, both within the US and internationally. It also reflects the benefit of the California licence and the bricks and mortar operation at Cal Expo racetrack. These initiatives have significantly improved WatchandWager's profile within the US online gaming industry and hence its ability to do transactions of this nature. The Board believes the financial impact of adding Churchill Downs content and other global content will be significant. Wagering and streaming will be available via its new data enriched website, www.watchandwager.com and will both allow greater marketing opportunities and generate greater loyalty to the new site. Ed Comins, Pari-Mutuel Operations Director of Webis said: "It is a great honour to have signed up with Churchill Downs, the acknowledged market leaders in our industry in the US. Allowing our players to watch and wager on events such as this Saturday's "Run for the Roses" will only help our platform. It is also a reflection of the benefits of our recent strategic investments in the US".
