We can't read too much into comparisons yet DB, were only half way through the year. The one crumb of comfort at present is last time we had a h1 this poor (2015) the H2 was a record holding production. ..... here's hoping, but we can't guarantee that's a trend.

Just listened to Lincoln’s sharetslk interview.

One thing that does stick in mind still and concerns me is his statement that harvest is down about 20% - this is true compared to last year actual but not if you include the 4500T that DKL claim we lost last year due to mechanical issues in May and June - if include this number in last years number then is down 40% In comparison (unless am missing something?)

Dkl referenced this loss in their annual report just a week or two ago - stating results could of been even better than those reported!!

If I am correct in this analysis then DKL need to stop trying to massage situation - investors will work it out!!

I’m now completely in dark what to expect in H2! Basically closing eyes and hoping for best!

yes I hear that Blue2 - I think all us long term holders are in the same boat loss wise.

my view is that a lot will change with the share price, quickly, if we can just string a set of positive quarters together - obtain some momentum, get confidence in the direction - and stay in control of the newsflow!

we had more positivity when mill was being built because the news flow was consistent and positive - built on time, to budget and commenced as planned etc - that saw the SP hit up to 17p and stay around 12 - 14p.

last year was a disappointment because of the mechanical issues and accounting error - all caused concern, We were then were not informed early enough on Q1 and that was a disappointment - especially given news around production expectations and increased capacity etc.

Can't blame DKL when production and pricing goes against us - but they do need to own the messaging and newsflow.

The important stuff is there - solid market fundamentals, expected ongoing growth of market over coming years, profitable, etc etc etc - all stuff we've commented on so often.

DKL need to own the newsflow and then when the variables turn in our favour put a string of positive quarters together - this will change the SP quickly.

as always just IMO/DYOR - I feel for anyone that is forced to sell at a loss - and certainly would not expect anyone to hold or buy further based on my comments - purely a view for consideration.

since then in fairness the news has been generally positive with DKL activity

My situation exactly. Now I am in a real dilemma, because I have probably spent twice as much as I probably should on DKL (£30K). Logic says the SP must start going up at some point. The trouble is I now have a general "uneasy" feeling which maybe comes down to "just how much spin has been put on this business?". It seems perhaps that a lot of us may have got carried away thinking great fortune was just round the next bend. We might have "got lucky" with the harvests previously? No norms have yet been established.

Thanks share_talk. So, everything in the puff piece would suggest carry on holding, but DYOR.

FFBs - June has stabilised, July better on company estates.

Another reason to release figures monthly, even if delayed. I'd like to see these improvements and compare them for myself.

We only found out the other week (in the conference call) that both December and January were record months.

LJM aware the more newsflow required here and with 3 projects on the go should start flowing by year end. Also aware to focus on the main project at Ayenouan. Groundworks started at Guitry. No mention of the 4th project (Norpalm).
