FTSE 250 movers: Dixons Retail rises on new deal
Dixons Retail, the electrical retailer and services group, saw its shares climb after it announced an agreement to sell Webhallen to Komplett As, a Norwegian based e-commerce company for a cash consideration of approximately SEK140m. The sale of Webhallen, a subsidiary of PIXmania S.A.S, is expected to be completed by the end of May.[22 Apr '13]
FTSE 100 movers: Randgold Resources jumps higher
Randgold Resources was a strong riser - particularly compared to the rest of its sector - gaining after Blackrock upped its stake in the group to 14.1 per cent, marginally higher than the 14 per cent it previously owned.[22 Apr '13]

FTSE 100 movers: GSK rises on COPD treatment approval
Shares in pharmaceuticals giant GlaxoSmithKline gained after the the US FDA approved Breo Ellipta, the company's treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). "This positive recommendation is a crucial first step towards making Breo Ellipta available for appropriate COPD patients across the US," it said.[18 Apr '13]
FTSE 250 movers: Hikma Pharmaceuticals hit by target price cut
Hikma Pharmaceuticals was a heavy faller today after going ex-dividend and being hit by a target price cut from Jefferies, from 1,150p to 1,040p. The cut came after the group announced its plan to hold on to its global injectables business.[17 Apr '13]
FTSE 100 movers: Tullow Oil dives on drilling plans
Tullow Oil saw its shares drop significantly after its joints venture partner Northern Petroleum gave an update on one of its wells at its joint venture project in French Guiana. Following an announcement by Northern Petroleum, the company confirmed that the GM-ES-3 well, which to-date has had no significant hydrocarbon shows, will be drilled deeper in the hope that it will provide information that is crucial to developing the companies' understanding of the exploration poten[17 Apr '13]

Carr's Milling Industries increased half year profit by more than a third as adverse weather conditions in the UK and US increased demand for animal feed products.[16 Apr '13]
FTSE 250 movers: Michael Page falls on Q1 profit slide
Recruitment firm Michael Page International fell after saying that 'tough economic conditions and weak market confidence' was partly to blame for a slump in profits in the first quarter.[16 Apr '13]
