Tig, Things are going to fine. It's only because some were taking in the endless assumptions and predictions by certain posters. Posting the same stuff all the time was similar to brainwashing therefore there was bound to be some disappointment. Let's see where the news flow is by the AGM. I bet you feel happier then!
finally lets see how many who are negative on lgo tonight are all of a sudden saying things are rosey as and when good pad 4 results come in. Could it be that nr has released the, lets say 'poorest' , results first, and he was waiting for an indication as to how things were going before making his mind up regarding the order of things. so things can surely only get better. Whod want to release fantastic flow rates and then say we only have a 100% increase in p1.Just my opinion.
Try not to feel to low, the turn coat will play on comments like that and try to turn the screw, he and others want a big sell off, now he,s on the side lines, just waiting to get back in if price falls. if the RNS was so bad why did it only fall 4%. why has Neil ordered 2, 5000bopd tanks, remember he most likely knew the results of the CPR And still went ahead with the extra storage.
Ron, I have previously posted my thoughts on placings. Feel free to read them. I am not a ramper, nor am i blind to risk. LGO and NR have made some mistakes, and i have discussed them on this board. But the far positives outweigh the negatives. And i think that LGO are good at learning from their mistakes. I expect things to continuously improve.
It is a bit sad that you keep referring to a court case that happened over a year ago, with a company that no longer exists. You know that BH successfully defended against the accusation against him. But there were other charges with a lower evidence threshold that he may well have lost. If you are glad that BH left with a pocket full of cash and his reputation intact, whilst MOG shareholders lost money, that is your perogative. Just let it go and move on!
I also think that it is a bit disrespectful to DL to keep referring to him as DLboy. He has made a lot of shareholders a lot of money. He is a large holder of LGO shares - the reason being that they will make him a lot of money in the future. Personally, i like DL, and he is a breath of fresh air to AIM. I wish that there were more like him. If you don't like him or LGO, then there are many other small oil companies out there that you could maybe advise the boards on?
Can i just try and put a little positive spin on today. Firstly i'll admit im no expert in these matters but as soon as i opened the rns this morning and worked out that it was only a 100% increase in p1 reserves even i knew that wasnt good, or what was hoped for or expected. now ive listened to the interview and everybody seems to have ignored the OIP figure of 800m barrels. now if you take a 15% recovery rate that is 120 mbds, that works out at over 36k bopd over the 9 years left of the licence. Its been said countless times we low poo, sadly an infrastructure that isnt keeping pace with the unexpected success, although we have a bod that is trying to resolve that and we all know why we think the taps have been restricted. When all pieces of the jigsaw are put in place you have a full picture and it looks lovely. I'll be honest im a little low tonight but typing this has reminded me and reinforced my reasons for wanting to stay put. ...and the only 'trading' i will be doing is my t20's. See you all at the agm (well slightly fewer than last week)
