He hasn't called it right, he is repositing old news from way back. He has infact called it wrong as he sold out at a "large loss" and then purchased LGO at approx 4p as he thought it "cheap" now again sitting on a large loss over there.
MrJim. The facts are this re voger. He obviously gets his kicks from winding up posters here. what makes it worse are the idiots that keep patting him on the back, telling him he calls it right. That obviously is a boost to his ego. So the chances of him disappearing are zilch as long as posters engage with him.
Why would he buy back in , he doesn`t like the BOD and doesnt think VOG will make any money this year , he knocked the hell out of VOG when he was in and knocking it when he is out , strange thing to do on a retirement , just must be bored as hell and likes to hold a grudge on a company he invested in to early like the rest of us , ppl may have been in here 4 to 5 years but that is how long it has taken to get this far , yes 4.4 scuffs without any power stations connected , give it a couple of months those scuffs will triple .
keith I can understand your timeframe against past performance on gensets , VOG stood it`s ground and got a 2 year delay on paying customs anymoney , that was a first in Cameroon as we all know VOG was the first to bring natural gas gernsets into the country so new rules had to be drawn up hense the delay , those issues are long gone and VOG see`s no delays in the generators for the Power Stations ,everything is still to VOGs timeframe from last RNS , what they have done is given a 90 -120 day timeframe incase of a delay in weather , transport , etc , but remember that is for both Power Stations connected and running , the first could be running mid Feb , lets hope the sooner .
Agreed JR2 - I posted a few days ago re Ataaqa - look very impressive, and assume if they are installing Gensets it will be quick and done right. Assuming rental, then the precedence of the original VOG gensets one would hope would now cause no import issue re import duty on owned versus rented which was the main delay. Pipework in place to one station already and then proc plant 1.5km from second station, all one would hope would mean this will happen 'sooner rather than later'.
But of course....if VOG haven't told us of the giant 9 ft ants that are eating the ships in the Doula harbor, it may well be happening.
I can't see any delays being VOG's fault. They only have to provide the gas and pipes are already @ one power station and shortly @ the other. I imagine the contract with the genset provider will have penalty clauses if they miss the March deadline so they won't be hanging around.
i,m seriously looking at power no earlier than july and thats only based on past performances be it vogs fault customs or the government and being here so long takes all optimism out of an investor until kevin earns respect for hitting some sort of time targets maybe you are correct in q1 but dont see it myself atb
