New to shares, thought I,d have a punt at RBS, purely on the thought that the only way is up. After watching it go up and down and reading the blog decided on trading in and out. Sometimes got the timing right, some not so. Over 12 months made 17% Just done a calc. If I had left alone would be 20% Interesting
Some folk roll wee wooden bools back and forward to a wee white one, others run marathons, and have you seen the route the cyclists took through Yorkshire this summer? I might start playing the first but there's nae chance of me runnin' or ridin' a bike! Its a time for social activities and golf has to offer most on that front. Yes, I have the notion the 366.10 gap has been left behind but I'll wait a bit to see what happens. I am fairly fully committed to others with good dividends due over the next few months so have to time it to allow a sale if I want to punt at any real level. Otherwise I will need to scrape some off my pension to get in at a small stake level. Nae worries. GL
hype.. this should be back at around 380 at least by tomorrow'ish maybe Thursday.
Yes and so what if Italy is interested in Coutts.. first they get the books but not the name... which is essentially a massive bargaining chip for the people holding the cash. They can ask for a serious discount based on the fact that the deal will include absolutely no good Will. Not to mention the sale of Couts at an average amount was factored in AGES ago. But this is moving up nicely... just expecting some sort of correction here.. the graph is looking to smooth on the upward trend and all this Deloitte BOE payments probing.. and apologies on false testimony on how the department meant to be helping poorly businesses was actually a money making death trap .... this is starting to reek of more damage control up ahead.
GAP's at 366.10 . Hold on to your pension , purely a guess on my part . They don't always get closed .Never forgive myself if you lost your pension and could no longer go chasing a wee white ball with a stick ,. up and down hills , in and out of sand pits , long grass and the occasional stream or pond . Strange pastime ,but as they say different strokes for different folks .
