It's called "insurance" for a reason.

And I am only talking a smidge (relatively).

Both of you back on the bandwagon, eh?

I suppose that means it's time to take a bit off the table. Just a smidge for insurance.

yes, interesting post - the HP board have given the impression of a very muddled lot indeed, no wonder their shareholders took a class action...let's hope they get their just deserts...the BOD that is..

Don't laugh too much

But I'm afraid to say I've had a holding in one such of those awful AIM oilies since the early days. GKP. I'll say no more.

...attract the most terrifying of investor, know to me as the the Lobsterman; so-called because of his scarlet face and richly veined nose which sweats profusely as he sits in the spare room of the house dressed in blue braces with gold dollar signs holding up his greying underpants and pretending to be Red Adair with talk of dusters and strikes and his shouty sputum speckles his screen and his wife occasionally breaks the silence with the arrival of tea and hobnobs.

Yep Horse2, those exploration companies are as dodgy as their early-retirement-bored investors.

Whatever way you look at it

If you look at the latest share chat column o the left of the page, one thing is glaringly obvious.
We are invested in one of the few proper meaningful growing companies on AIM.
There are loads of complete farces of companies run by dubious individuals of which I am delighted to say I have no investment in.
The way some of the oilies are run beggars belief.
Until we stop growing there is not too much to worry about and lots to be excited about, so its really about world events and the pesky brokers as to where the daily price sits.
