Don't be idiotic. Australia is many times the size of the UK and has many times less population. Moreover, many parts of Australia do not need central heating in their houses, and cooking if its not done on the BB, is by bottled gas, except in all of the largest cities, there is no pipeline distribution to speak of. Australia is simply not a good comparison with the UK, wherein there is a large closely packed population, and established pipe transport. The two markets are no where near compariable. Moreover, they are thousands of miles away from high population centres which would increase the cost of exporting gas. Personally I wouldn't invest in shale gas in Australia, but I have no qualms about doing so in the UK. The price drop, don't worry about it, you have no shares anyway. Meantime I don't mind the drop and I may pick up a few more shares in Igas if it goes even lower
That's right people, keep Feeding The Crane! He loves your back chat, feeds on it. Keep shtoom! Actor's need an audience. No audience,no actor! By the way, huge buying opportunity once those oil prices stable. Once OPEC do make that cut, then I'm back in huge style. This is dream world prices for the long termer like myself. Been in since 2009 with a 15 year view on the outlook. So far so good. Share stock building nicely. Remember,it all only counts when you finally sell up.
Mr Crane .. I've spent plenty of time in the Surat Basin and a lot closer to gas operations than you. I used to have 11 live gas well in a 5 kilometre radius from where I worked and slept. Now you'd think that if the mysterious health effects of which you speak were real that they might show up in the thousand or so workers surrounded by the stuff. But no - only in your inbred friends at Wieambilla who have minimal (if any) exposure. The Queensland government spent millions looking into these and could find no link - because there is none. You are either extremely misinformed or an outright liar.
You almost seem pleased. Have you really ever had any shares or are you one of those loonies trying to destabilise fracking companies? I don't know how many times I have read that you are having to sell your shares again, but I can't remember you ever buying any.
