Turns out those Fastnet rumours were true (see today's share price). Maybe Char should join others and try and bid for Fastnet's Tendrara gas prospect. Incredible turnaround there - it was only a few months ago that directors were buying in at 7p a share and only a couple of years ago that well-known investors like the Ecclestones were buying at 30p a share.
I would naively hope it was the same info that we were given. I still cling to my belief that Chariot could be a takeover target in the near future. Could get it for peanuts given the state of the market. Wouldn't be surprised if that explains the £1m Adonis investment recently - got to protect himself in the event of a cheap takeover. On a more positive note, that helioschariot chap found this http://www.oilandgastechnology.net/upstream-news/polarcus-nets-brazil-3d-offshore-seismic-shoot .... Chariot? It would fit with the timetable....
I wouldn't blame anyone who did that. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but they always knew that effective deadline was there. As bad as we're all feeling, it could be worse. There's a bizarre convo going on amongst Fastnet investors about whether the chairman openly discussed returning money to shareholders or else using their funds to turn the business into a medical technology company. Probably not true but when you have poor communication with investors, such stories can gain a life of their own. Anyway, interesting trading today. Traders keep on selling but someone is moving the bid up to encourage them to the point that we are now in positive territory. One of our resident market whales accumulating?
