Cheapest share in my portfolio
8 Jul '14
at ~128p we have P/Es and EPS growth:

2014: 11.6, 120%
2015: 7.5, 54.5%
2016: 5.6, 35.3%

You'd have to look very hard for that kind of value/bargains, why Capital Group have been snapping up more.

Toshack, I'd take 150 at the moment and make a run for it.

What, with Iraq, Ukraine, airport security gone bananas, exploding undies, near collisions etc, no wonder the SP is dropping. Even if H was to deliver record breaking numbers and presented it professionally the SP will only rise if the stock is bought.

It's gonna be a long long year or five.

I did dump my short term tranche at 139 Friday.

All my 2012 longs are in tact and won't be touched until FY2016 and beyond.

Whats wrong?
8 Jul '14
At the price of being lambasted by one of the perceived sages on this forum I once again raise this question.Unless there is a rapid response from the management explaining that there are no intrinsic problems with the company the price will continue to freefall and even if the news is brilliant it is difficult to see much beyond 150.

AF-KLM overcapacity in N America

and Asia.

Softness in cargo demand, cheaper Gulf carriers and Venezuela poor due to currency and profit being locked up there by the government.

They say EUROPE in line which is reassuring for TCG, RYA, EZJ etc.

And more importantly this blip in passenger traffic "isn't representing a turning point in market trends".

TCG has had a good run....

Pi's are getting itchy feet after the superb rise to over 185p. But i think this is a good entry point at 134p. Harriet is bound to spring some near term surprises and we'll be back up near 200p

off topic....vote for fairness - shorting

Expedia bid for wotfi
7 Jul '14
Us online travel agent Expedia has made a 700m offer for Wotif, an Australian version of itself. Nice! Be good to get some M&A action on TC.. And I like, our new website so if we do get to 50% online sales and profits expected then we should be so much higher than we are it's silly. Wotif is not worth 700m or 25% of TC in my view
