hi chaps,

yes...it seems very surprising.

one would imagine the ST has a good source.

financial black holes are often a static perspective - a moment in financial time. afren after all are now 'fit at $50 / bbl. how long before the company is no longer in the red.

one would imagine mr linn and the BoD are desperate to get this recap. sorted out, allowing maximum focus on running the business profitably.

Hi Torquewrench,

yep sounds like the bondholders were caught by surprise as well.

I think the company has done this on purpose to try and persuade the ad-hoc to give the $30m. We were told they approach them on the 19th June RNS.

It may be that the suspension is not a ploy for a yes vote. It may however be a ploy to try and coax the $30m from the ad-hoc. Lets see what happens.

Yellowcraig,
I would look it up if there was any chance of me using the word in real life, but there isn't!
No tirade from me tonight.

I presume you're referring to Isabore - couldn't agree more fella. PS you & GG are equally meaningless. #movealongthebus.

hi isengard,

what did you make of todays ST article - does it suggest that the BoD acted unilaterally?

not sure here.

thoughts?

btw - most would agree AL is the man for the job. just hope there is a company for him to work his magic on.
