no problem, it was said in jest. The more serious point is that successive iterations of Liqhobong - under EPD, under KDD and now under FDI, have been effective destroyers of shareholder value.

It just doesn't appear to say so on the KDD site or google chart but I remain corrected by your details.

I apologise & stand corrected, I bought KDD @ 12.8 & 14.15, but they were then transferred to FDI at 27p (I think), so in my head I still paid approx 27p when it is now .0263.

without wishing to be pedantic, I repeat, KDD was born out of EPD.in 2007, when Roy Spencer left and Tim Reid took over as CEO and the name changed. I don't dispute that EPD hit heights in 2002, as did FDI somewhat later, both on a very limited issue of shares compared to later. That's par for the course..
Enough of this nonsense.

KDD did not exist in 2002, that was EPD.

Sobering Reading

"The journey from prospecting to production can take six to 10 years, according to a diamond industry report from Bain & Company. For a greenfields exploration project, the probability of finding a commercially viable diamond deposit is about 1 to 3 percent, the report also states."

Liqhobong is of course brownfield, but the chances of survival as of now look slim.
Still, at this price, it may be worth hanging on.

yes, it was the old, old days of Roy Spencer and European Diamonds when the share price (briefly) hit 27p-ish, in about 2006. The graph tells a sorry tale since then. For some sobering facts, look at the old Kopane website, still up and running, and weep how little has changed - the directors still earn comfortable salaries, Liqhobong still has "challenges" - oh, but of course the punters have lost 90% of their investment. Such is life.
