Nope, mere 3.5 year or so man myself, nope it doesnt make you any less an investor, (I prefer the word "donor" at present). Ref £4 days, I would have sold in a hearbeat... as with my holding, I would retire and hope to live to be able to spend it all :) My high point was £2.29 and sorely regret not cutting and running when in decent blue... As you (infact we all) know, this Co, is nothing more than a cookie jar for certain "people of position" (as are DNO and GENL to a degree). Ive read the reports, attended an agm, met with other PI's and still it beggars belief, how this can be so easily suppressed/manipulated (is there another word or theory that fits so aptly) I doubt it... hence a huge pile of manure as the other word gets asterisked out? IMO, from the wordings and sayings used on here, the average age of many is lets say the "grey money" I wonder how many will still be around (alive) to spend their (shall we say, "impending" profits? If I could get to my breakeven, which is not actually as bad as others, I would be gone. The days of patiently waiting for "Eldorado" are fast diminishing, as is my patience in waiting for the corrupt to become courageous. Wishing every long term holder a very happy end... Red or Black what will it be?
Nicki Points well made as usual though lots of if's in there.
I can't help but keep coming back to why would ERCE approach this any differently to their first 'effort' when as you rightly point out their numbers were based on FDP phase 1 and question marks over OWC. I cannot see an earth shattering revision - or one certainly in line with what many of the long termers on here would like to see (ie 1.5 - 2bn recoverable at net W.I.) - when we are still addressing phase 1 of FDP and struggling to get to 100,000bpd. Removal of OWC confusion should be helpful here but surely, within the current drilling zones under phase 1 the best we can hope for is a conversion of 2C to 2P? Am I missing something?
I have been, realistic, positive, and let me tell you the fundamentals do not stack up I am no oil expert but this share moves when the powers that be decides it moves and normally it`s down I am up to my neck in SH*T here and too say I have had enough would be a total understatement, and if i thought it was a bad investment and that I had made a bad decision it would be easier to accept my view is this stinks and it is not right
I agree with you that payments has been the boot which has been used to repeatedly kick Aunt Sally Petroleum. But she was aleeady unsteady on her feet because of the endless attacks about "Corporate Governance" and she had been tripped up and knocked to the pavement by the obsolescent CPR. So in a sense it was softening up punches, followed by the old one-two.
The way to look at GKP at present , it was around the 30p for sometime with no payments , now with payment and should be on a regular bases the SP is still around 30p with under half the risks , you can have all the oil in the world but if you don't get paid for it then you cant keep going , GKP is now getting paid pretty fair risk IMO.
No point in thinking down trend 3 to 4 weeks GKP should get another payment , Next week a good chance news on CPR report , don't forget GKP are getting more cash in from selling oil to their own customers now , it was always not getting the cash in that pulled the SP down they are getting it now ,good positive outlook ahead imo, gl
