For anyone interested the type 45 destroyer HMS Dragon arrived on station for tour as Falklands Guard Ship last week. She is one of the world's most advanced air defence vessels and we can guess if it is coincidence that her arrival is timed at the start of the drilling campaign.
Until we significant numbers and we bottom out then. pity all this is on the cusp of drills.a delay in drilling might be positive given timeframes.premier announcement during the week makes sense.either way it won t be long gla
Murrcolr1 & Hangseng its the rig count in Bakken and Eagle Ford you need to watch for. These should be significantly down over the next six - eight weeks. Both though need about 1000 new wells per year overall. Even then the shale oil will diminish there by 2017 and that is what Saudi is aiming at. Don't know the number Saudi has in mind re the drillers best guesstimate is probably about 300 they want closed down. If so its about another two months but I think the oil price may have already bottomed out at about $45 for WTI. The next two weeks will prove or not.
