yes, indeed. No point reading this board as much anymore; same old, same old rehashed info. Waiting for payments or god....I hope the former happens before the latter...Wil these Kurdish clowns ever sort this mess out...Very dull and boring this "investment" lark. Not selling at this SP but wouldn't be surprised for this to drop further if substantial payments aren't forthcoming and soon. Might buy a few more if we see 25p and then hold until conclusion (just a £1 would do nicely now but would prefer £5!....). GLA
Think is it more a case of lack of trust and suspicion - ie cant trust em, further than you can throw em, and with their fat wallets wouldn't be that far really! Waiting or selling or shorting is all an investor has left, as why throw more away as it NEVER rises and sustains the rise! It always fall back and who in there right mind would sell 200k shares at 27p if not to deliberately keep sp down? IMO
People just need to suck it up, march on, and get used to the SP being here until we get a big payment from the KRG, not 10 million here as ongoing payments and there, or until we farm out 1/4 of the company to a big boy.
This share, along with the Kurdistan region as a whole, has become a bit of a panto really, and that likely wont change for a little while yet.
I think that the KRG have to start paying for ongoing oil production, yes, no question, and I think it will happen in September too a theyve said so, and its crunch time for those freeloading muppets. The issue of backdated debts, which in our case amount to hundreds of millions of dollars, is another issue which for me wont be seen to until next year at soonest, likely when they start to push harder for independance. The KRG just don't have the cash to pay us, but surely they could do more than pay for just ongoing production? I dont doubt that they will continue to give as little as possible though. Hopefully next year, crude will be back to over $75 a barrel and things will start turning around in the oil industry.
I couldnt help notice that petrol at the pumps was today back to 114.9p a litre for unleaded 95 octane. Weird that isnt it, since it was 103.9 not that long ago with, higher crude prices. Pft.
As far as GKP goes, we just need to keep our heads above water until the tide turns. Ill happily swim against the tide for as long as it takes really.
