I think you give him far to much credit.... greedy person, working with other greedy persons, whom, then didnt bother informing market he had sold millions of shares, for over three months on an oversight.... no not stupid, greedy ! imo
for my $63...any closer to this yet CJ? What does your Chinese sauce have to say these days?
What with the MG4 fiasco, I find it quite unbelievable that these characters still try and convey their opinion as if they're the ones with the knowledge..the delusions of grandeur, are really quite off the scale..
I believe Tod Kozel was a lot smarter than anybody thought. Most investors thought he was simply greedy and I have to admit they have a case for such thinking, but if you look at our present situation his stepping down as CEO got him out of a no win situation. I believe his insider status with the KRG gave him access to the political problems gkp would face in the near future and how no CEO had the power to change the inevitable destruction of our SP.
I seen him in court while he was on the stand giving evidence, and believe me ,he was far from stupid. Confidant measured response's under pressure was the way he came across. Not easy in a courtroom. There was much ado at the time about his outrageous salary and blatent greed. Most investors thought it was their victory in getting rid of him but now I am wondering if they weren't led down that path by TK himself. As we can now see, all the praise of Tony Hayward and how he was respected by the City was a bunch of old cobblers as Benny Hill would say.Respect ends when the profits end.
No CEO can be successful if the company is constantly bombarded with financial, and political grenades. TK is now free to invest at basement prices if he believes that things will improve. We will never know, will we.
