These results are appalling for one principle reason. You can no longer trust anything this management team tells you. They are no different to the ones that went before.
They spent the early part of the year saying everything was going to be fine when it was clearly too early to do so, kept on maintaining that profits were going to be fine and now deliver a profit warning. They keep prattling on about selling ambrosia mini pots in shanghai when what I would want to know is that they are producing products for Aldi and Lidl. Whilst Tesco/Sainsbury/Asda continue to struggle continue to struggle, things can only get worse for Premier.
When a previous poster mentioned consolidation at 30p being good he was referring to the share price settling around that price today being a positive sign rather than meaning there would be a proper share price consolidation that we had under Clarke a couple of years back.
please tell me they are not going to be consolidation again I lost out the last time 10 for 1 made my shares £3.33 from 33p I have bought them down to 99p so if they do 10 for 1 again that would mean my shares would be £9.99p each what a rip of can some one tell me if this is going to happen
Totally agree long term they should be fine. Short term the sp will be pummelled too much negativity with those results and the external factors impacting on the business. The 4th quarter should be much better
