RE: cadbury cakes on the rise
5 May '15
Thanks again Bisto L for sharing this. cadbury cakes sales in 2010 was 58M ( as stated in annual report), now according to the article they are £72m, this is a 24% increase. Hopefully this is also repeated for Kipling cakes who had sales of £136m in 2010. We could be seeing 241M for both, together with private label cakes, we could be looking at a third of total pfd sales.

cadbury cakes on the rise

looks like it is not just Kipling which is having a great start to the new year. Cakes now make up a third of PFD sales, hoping cakes have more than replaced the lost sales else where, crossing my fingers. See below article and snippet.

The brand has had a very strong start this year and this campaign is set to continue that momentum

Mr Kipling

Dear Mr. Kipling,
come the next Election, is there any chance you could stand for Election?
I feel the other parties have already taken all the biscuits which would surely leave a space for a French Fancy?
I feel you need to get on the Bisto gravy train and bring in plenty of (Hovis) bread.

Your, lovin ya sauces,

LBG

thanks Bisto L for sharing this. Looks like Kipling are now in a league of it's own. I am so Glad PFD are now able to share in some fun finally, it has had a rocky time over the last few years, but can now look forward to more happier times for the company employees and shareholders.

New Kipling snack pack production line must now be up and running as 9 pack and 4 pack are advertised as being available. This was was said to be the fastest selling SKU for PFD, so sales can only go one way.
