Nice steady rise over last few months after the dip into single digits. Would appear to be correcting back to its balanced price. A lot of bureaucratic and logistical coordination happening at the momen which seems to have curtailed the newsflow. I believe February will see the start of positive announcements.

. . . YEP, nice to be back in the blue..... The SP was .9p back in October and I dont know why some people are still negative about this share.... My hunch is that this will climb well over .30p this year as the oil extraction gains momentum.

Hi Robert. I'm afraid Amerisur wouldn't recognise good PR if it came dressed as Father Christmas with a cure for cancer. Having said that, it does look like someone has made it an early New Year's resolution to get some coverage. There was even a bit in the Weekend FT (although it was neither a tip nor news so I couldn't really understant why it got the space). I thought this would be touching 20p by now but we should see some forward action in January. Possible confirmation of the Reto funding and announcements on the Platanillo development. In any event, with proper production in 2012, the PR should be self-generating.

I like you do look forward to more positive news - the company does a great job PR wise when it has something useful to report. That said, albeit as a shareholder, I would love to be proved wrong, I still remain of the opinion that there is likely to be more profit taking before we see a sustained upward thrust in the value of the shares, the present rise is, as you point out, possibly due to the two articles you mention. BTW, I think it is no bad thing that 52.07% of the voting shares of the company are currently controlled by just seven organisations: see http://www.amerisurresources.com/AIM_Securities_Information_AMER_050511.pdf
